Re: Target a specific card value using ID or something.
I've done a lot of toying around with Domo Everywhere and "emitting" and "listening" is the only way to do what you are requesting (through usage of a DDX brick or Domo Enterprise App).
I would guess building a DDX brick that does that would only take like 20 hours or so if you have a custom code developer on the team. Feel free to DM me if you need help though on building one out.
Re: Group Administration
It appears only when you hover next to the name of the furthest right group owner. You'll need the grant "Manage All Groups" to be able to edit closed groups owned by others.
Re: Enable Preview Up to Point in ETL
I would take it a step further and make it so that if you make a change to a tile after a preview you can tell it to recalculate the preview for that tile without having to recalculate all of the preceding tiles. This is already available in the SQL ETLs, and would be a huge time saver.

Re: Text to Floating Decimal Issue
@Mwatson It's possible that if there are extra characters, like commas, in your field that it is still not able to convert your text to a floating decimal. Try using this formula to remove all non-number characters except decimal points and cast to a decimal:
CAST(REGEX_REPLACE(`Ad fees`,'[^0-9.]','') as DECIMAL())
Re: Word cloud in DOMO
Here is a video on how to break up comments into individual words and remove particular words.
Re: Find and append a value to a field
You could do this:
CASE WHEN RIGHT(myfield,1) = '/' THEN myfield ELSE CONCAT(myfield,'/') END
Re: Scheduled Report - Excel Attachement
Hi @mberkeley, @spodnar, @Moose, @JerryB.
So if you want to send datasets as excel files, you could use this push connector:
HOWEVER, it's just a dataset that is pushed into someone's sFTP. Sounds like you all just want an attachment as excel and not a csv which I don't think is possible at the moment. Regardless if you sent an excel or csv from domo, you would lose conditional formatting unfortunately.
One other trick is to allow your clients to use the excel add in where they can select a dataset and just download that into their excel. I have an article on that here:
I know, not the right answers you want to hear, but trying to give you something to work with.
Re: Scheduled Report - Excel Attachement
Just want to confirm if the feature on the schedule report will have Excel format instead of just csv as of right now?
