Re: Domo Everywhere and Access Control
Hi @Tow, you can have your dashboards access settings designed for Users only via SSO. Have a read through this to get more information on 'User Based' sharing of content: https://domohelp.domo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043437993-Sharing-Cards-and-Dashboards-Outside-of-Domo-Using-Domo-Embed.
Let me know if you're after something else.

Re: What TYPE of post should I make?
This has to be mandatory reading for every new user or returning users after a long absence.

Re: Change Update Method Using Pydomo
Hi @user059353, you could use ds_import:
ds_import(ds_id, df_up, update_method = "REPLACE")
where
ds_id: Data set id (from url in Domo).
df_up : Dataframe to upload.
update_method:Optional choose the appropriate updateMethod when importing data via the API. Available choices are either to APPEND or REPLACE.

Re: Reconnecting Disconnected Output DataSets and Cards
@Tow solving it yourself is always good and either way you've made @GrantSmith a happy man :P

Allow tracking of Developer Token Usage
API Tokens are great but difficult to identify which are being used in order to remove unused one for better security. It'd be great if there was a way we could track the different API token usage within our instance.
Format As: Hyperlink
I had posted this idea previously however it was closed when the Dojo was transition to the new system so I'm submitting this idea again as it continues to be an issue.
Many times there is a need to display a URL, however it's nice to have it clickable. Currently to do this you need to add in some custom HTML which then also gets exported in the dataset making the data difficult to tweak and clean outside. It'd be great if we could have an option to format a column as a hyperlink which would cause the values within the field to be interpreted as a clickable URL and navigate to that URL but still export the URL only when exporting the data.

DataSet Data Tab - Allow scrolling right/left with keyboard arrows
If I have a cell highlighted in the data tab view on a dataset I can use the arrow keys to move the highlighted cell however if I go over farther than what's displayed I lose where the highlighted cell it and have to then use my mouse to scroll over to then find where my highlighted cell it. This also causes difficulty in tracking which specific row number I'm on. It'd be great if when I use my arrow keys to move the highlighted cell and it goes off the visible screen it'd scroll the table over as well.
Re: It's easy to remove Duplicates.....How do I KEEP only the Duplicates in a Dataset?
Try this:
Items you will need:
Input table for your dataset.
Group by
2 Filters
Join
Output Dataset
Connect Group by to your input dataset.
In step 1) put the field you want to check for Duplicates.
In 2) - also put the field you want to check for Duplicates, but do a Count on it and name it "Count"
Connected this Group By to a filter - and filter for "Count Greater Than 1"
Drag another connector from your Input Dataset to the Join, and drag a connector from your first Filter to the Join (basically joining the dataset to itself, after grouping and filtering). Join these two based on the field you were checking for duplicates.
Connected your Join to 2nd filter - and filter for "Count is not null"
Connect your Filter to an output dataset - which should produce a table showing you ONLY rows that have >1 of the field you were checking for.
Optionally - you can also do a Select Columns between the 2nd filter and the output dataset, selecting all rows except the 2nd copy of the field you were looking for duplicates on. Because both input datasets will have that field, it will appear twice in the final set unless you remove it using this method.
Good luck!
