Add CTRL+click on cards to drill WITHOUT filtering
I know it sounds a bit crazy.. but I'd love to be able to set up two use cases for drill paths..
- EXISTING use case = drill and filter (done, great)
- NEW Use case = CTRL+click on cards to drill WITHOUT filtering = this allows me to design a new view of the same data using a different card type to expose more details, yet keep the top page really clean and simple.. (example card 1 = Bar chart, card 2 = pivot table). In card 1 i show data by one high level dimension e.g. AccountType, but in card 2 I switch to a pivot table showing the SAME data by both AccountType and AccountSubType.. so the user can see more detail from the same hierarchy of data..
of course you can drill and then "unfilter", which I suspect happens alot.. but it would be much easier to have a CTRL+click option to drill WITHOUT any filtering.. allowing the user to explore the SAME data in much more detail & using different graph options..
Re: Hover Over Metrics that aren't included in the graph
This is available now! One trick though - you need to turn on the tooltip menu, which is now one of the menu items inside the analyzer. After that you can drag attributes into the tooltip area, just like with the x-axis, series, etc. See my screenshot below.
Re: Api fails for filters
Hi @sunny, have you checked if:
- The Referer URL is too long, or
- There are too many cookies sent in the request (so just clear your cookies before processing the request again)?

Re: Api fails for filters
Hi @sunny, there must be a URL character limit being exceeded somewhere in your request, whether it's through large numbers of fields, or fields with long names, selected. Could you please check the number of fields passed as well as the length of the field names used, and see if any reductions to the size of name or number of fields impacts the issue?

Re: What should I enter as a subdomain for Matomo Connector?
Hi @user24014, I'd imagine you followed the setup outlined here: https://domohelp.domo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360042929334-Matomo-Connector?cid=matomo. The subdomain is the additional bit at the front of the URL (i.e. Anything that is before .matomo) for the Matomo Analytics space that you or your organisation uses.

Re: Some content is too tall to export
Hi @DP_DynamicData, you can email the page. The stories/dashboards turn out quite nicely when in the email format. You would email to yourself first and then, after some optional editting and messaging, you can send through to external users.
To address the message you get, you can add border elements to sub-divide your dashboard. This would make it easier to know which heights of tables etc need to be reduced.

Re: window.addEventListener("message") does not trigger when card is clicked
Do you get any error message to help with troubleshooting?
I would suggest also sending this thread, or these screenshots along with an explanation of your situation, to Support [support.domo.com] as they are better equipped to confirm bug or missing elements in your code.

Re: Beast Mode Validated but not working
Hi @beatricetan21, the error is occurring because there's an aggregate function (i.e. SUM) on top of another aggregate function (i.e. SUM or COUNT DISTINCT), which isn't possible to process in a beast mode.
What you should do is set up your two SUM and one COUNT DISTINCT portions as 3 separate calculations before Analyzer (for example, as a calculated field in the ETL [https://domohelp.domo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360044258533-Writing-Formulas-in-the-New-Magic-ETL]) and then write your beast mode using the newly created measures.

Re: Closed Group Owner - grant to add/remove members?
Hi @Jessica, what role is your user currently? I know that being 'Admin' means you can add and remove users from closed groups even if you don't own the groups.
Also, even though that user has been added as a group owner, s/he can't see that they are owner of that group but in your Domo view, you can see that person is owner?
