Re: Add collapsible sections to "new" dashboard pages like the "old" standard pages
New update on this. Coming soon is a collapsible drag and drop sections component in app studio to help with this.
Re: YouTube Player Brick Error 153 Question
Have you tried using the same YouTube video in the new brick that you are using in the old one? This would ensure that your new code is correct and it is something specific to the particular video you are trying to use, such as the video is restricted.
Re: Governance: AI Readiness
If you go to the DomoStats connector, there are now two new DomoStats reports that will help you with this. AI Readiness Report and AI Readiness Details Report. The Details report lists the columns and their context and synonyms. The main report lists the dataset Ids. There is a DictionaryID that links the two together.
Snowflake connectors using username/password - REQUIRED migration
Snowflake will be discontinuing the use of username and passwords for authentication. This means that any Snowflake connectors using this type of connection will need to be migrated to either an OAuth version or a Key Pair version of the connector.
The list of connectors that will need to be migrated include the following:
Snowflake
Snowflake Unload
Snowflake Unload V2
Snowflake Managed Unload
Snowflake High Bandwidth with Advanced Partitions
Snowflake Partition Connector
Snowflake Writeback
Connectors MUST be either migrated or disabled by May 4th 2026. After this date these connectors will no longer work and will begin throwing errors if not disabled or migrated.
To insure that your connectors are able to be migrated before the cutoff date, it is recommended that you submit your migration requests to support before April 1st 2026. This will help make the migration process smoother and help prevent any disruptions to your data.
The below video walks through the how's and why's of the migration process and the steps you will need to take BEFORE submitting a migration request.

Re: Is the Ideas Exchange Broken?
@CamBarnes Welcome, and I look forward to see where you steer the ship.
@BenSchein I will strive to for empathy for you and your team, and I apologize if my comments were hurtful in any way. I have been posting more since Domopalooza because I saw in you and your team a tremendous receptiveness towards community input, which I admire and respect. I hope to present my thoughts in the context of that respect and admiration, and if it was not received in that context, I failed. I am probably one of your smallest customers, and yet you are spending time replying to my posts with sincerity. I also appreciate you showing the idea exchange as a top, named input in what you are looking at as you develop products.
I am open to meeting with either of you gentlemen, but the reason I have been posting here (rather than emailing you or Domo directly) is I am genuinely interested in the thoughts of this community. I got to meet some folks at Domopalooza, and I came to the conclusion I was underutilizing the community and its collective wisdom. I asked "is the ideas exchange broken?", and I was open to the possibility of hearing "no" from other customers or maybe, "yes, but not in the way you're saying" or "it's not that deep, it could be better, but does what it needs to". I'm a tiny customer, so I don't expect my concerns to be the most representative or the most pressing for Domo at large. It's a little surprising that more Domo employees are replying to my post than Domo community members. If I were to shout something at a Spurs game, I wouldn't expect Wembayama to come off the court to politely disagree with me.
Re: Federated Data?
Domo has multiple ways to create "federated" data. One likely way this is now set up for you is through Virtual Datasets. The source Domo instance (your vendor) would have created a virtual dataset job in the Governance Toolkit to select which datasets should be federated to your instance. It is essentially a view and there is nothing for you to configure on your end. If data were to stop, it would be in the vendor's instance to troubleshoot. It requires an access token to function, so that could be the other potential breaking point if that token were to expire.
Hope that helps.
Re: Programmatic method of sending files to a Pro-Code App's directory
So, amazing update… I actually figured it out. I have to send a big shout out to @brycec and his explanation of how he built his Chrome Extension because he inspired my solution.
I ended up scouring the Network Tab and found the endpoint that gets called when I drag-and-dropped an image into the Pro-Code App! Amazing find.
