There are multiple posts on the subject of the Date Selector card but not much seems to be happening so posting to hopefully get some more traction and to propose a few more enhancements.
The existing date selector card is terrible, especially in relation to the rest of the cards and dashboard elements . It's too big, has very limited customization options, does not fully reflect the page date selector options and is not user friendly.
Some people may like the existing design and want to keep it but having the option to select different layout styles would be a solution with compact / pop-out versions, more theme / colour options and full control over the visible pre-sets (and ideally custom pre-sets which could be defined and added).
Something like the version below would be so much better with a pop-out calendar / pre-set list
Hoping this might get some support and an upgrade in the near future and fix a real bugbear with Domo!
