Re: Ability to Export / Import Custom Themes in AppStudio
@JasonAltenburg Update on this project: We are currently working on developing the feature for users to copy a theme from one app to another and also the ability to download the theme in JSON format and upload it to any other app!
Re: Ability to Export / Import Custom Themes in AppStudio
@dan_s This feature is getting released shortly in our upcoming September customer release! Stay tuned!
Re: Date range selector
@Jones01 I don't have a good dashboard to test this with, but you can try using the Date Ouput Format field in the General properties of this card and format it to month-year by using this format:
MMM-yyyy
Try that and see if it will respond that way you want it to. You'll likely have to do a week number format to get it to go by week if this actually works.
Hope this helps.
Re: Month filter not working on all cards in an App?
Hello @verytiredgirl,
Yes, Magic ETL is the easiest solution with a Formula tile using this formula:
MONTHNAME(Date) - for extracting the months as text;
or
MONTH(Date) - for extracting the months as integer;
If you have the Month as an integer you can use the same CASE statement in ETL.
Instead of relying on Beast Mode for generating month names, use Magic ETL for both datasets and attempt filtering once more.
Re: Beastmode to return current month value? And what's the best card type to show the variance?
Hi @verytiredgirl,
I'm glad I could help. You can simply adjust the Beast mode subtracting 1 from the CURRENT_DATE() or use the SUBDATE() function:
CASE
WHEN Month = MONTH(CURRENT_DATE()) - 1 AND Year = YEAR(CURRENT_DATE()) THEN Actual
ELSE 0
END
Re: Hover Text Settings for Radial Gauge
@mlopp @JasonAltenburg thanks for sharing this idea. We added a new chart property to disable this hover value under General settings:
09/18 PRODUCT RELEASE SNEAK: Magic ETL Updates
We are excited to release these new updates to Magic ETL!
- Upsert Processing: Update rows in output datasets without reprocessing the full dataset, based on a unique row-level key. This replaces any of the remaining needs for recursive dataflows. This makes the pipeline pattern much more resilient and efficient due to an easy recovery process and no longer a need to reprocess data or perform complex comparison logic when updating an existing dataset.
- ‘Remove Duplicates’ Tile: Now includes “Add All Columns” and a corresponding “Remove All Columns” buttons that allows for easy adding or removing of columns in bulk.
- Increased Magic ETL Canvas Size: Build better, more organized DataFlows that are easier to document and easier to update. Perform all the operations necessary without having to arbitrarily split the flow into multiple flows due to the previous small canvas size.
- Magic ETL Mini Map: Provides a better navigation experience with a mini map in the bottom right corner to quickly and easily see the layout of the tiles.
Product sneak peaks are an exclusive perk for our Community members only 👏
Please note: these features are scheduled to release on September 18, but subject to change and could lead to a delay in its deployment for an unknown amount of time.
