Re: How do I get unique values from a column?
If you are in a table card, one way is to drag that same column in again as the 1st column and choose count. Then in the chart properties, General - Hide Columns, enter 1. This will hide the 1st column and the aggregation that you chose will remove the duplicates.
Re: Pivot Table Expansion
Love this. It would be so much more intuitive and space efficient!
Re: Beast Mode Calc - calculation in rows
The BeastMode could be written without the Country:
(sum(CASE WHEN Fruit = 'Oranges' THEN Picked ELSE 0 END) +
sum(CASE WHEN Fruit = 'Apples' THEN Picked ELSE 0 END) )/
sum(CASE WHEN Fruit = 'Pineapples' THEN Picked ELSE 0 END)
And the way you would "pivot" by country is by using country as a variable:
You could literally use a pivot table, too, but basically all the Domo cards work on the same logic as a pivot table, where the variable are saying how to split up the data.

Just tried this and little things like this save me massive amounts of time in the long run. Appreciate all this!!
Re: How can I convert LinkedIn geocodes to other geographic variable
I believe LinkedIn uses its own Geocoding identifiers to represents countries, cities, and other areas. I don't think they publish an official mapping to their codes. You could do a internet search for something like "unofficial LinkedIn geocode mapping". Or try to connect to the LinkedIn API and get a full geographic name.
You could also try to build your own mapping by exporting a list of the codes then copy the urn:li:geo[8-digit number] into a LinkedIn search to get its associated name.
Re: Provider Prior to Upgrade
In your table it shows "Evaluation". Aren't you looking to see who did the evaluation prior to the upgraded procedure? If so just filter out anything that isn't "Evaluation" or "Upgraded Procedure" then do the lag function and you'll get who did the evaluation prior to each upgraded procedure. Be sure to partition on patient.
Re: Provider Prior to Upgrade
I am assuming you also have dates? Do you have a date time? Some way to order the events taking place? If so you could use a lag function and look for the procedure that occurred prior to the Upgraded Procedure.
Re: How to remove all grid lines except for X & Y zero lines
@Data_Devon I'm here to chime in! Hide grid lines and then add quadrant lines = 0
