Re: Sum of units sold, rolling 30 days
@Jacinta correct. When the date diff is less than 30 it will use qty value and if greater than 30 it will use 0. It will then sum all the values.
Re: More Granularity in the 'Manage' Role Grants
I think this is a great idea. I have seen other customers ask for this as well. Please consider this enhancement.
Re: Sum of units sold, rolling 30 days
sum(case when DATEDIFF(CURDATE(),`Calendar Date`) < = 30 then `Qty` else 0 end)
Unanswered Questions Tab Almost to Zero!
Hello Domo Community!
Let me just start by saying how amazing you all are. The response time in recent weeks has been ridiculously fast! It just goes to show how well-versed and supportive this community is.
With that being said, I would love to issue a challenge! Take a gander at the Unanswered Questions tab. At the time of this post, there are currently five questions that have gone unanswered in the forum, four of which have been unanswered since last year! I challenge you all to put your mind to the test and see if you have the knowledge to answer these questions!
I am so impressed with this community and I know we have what it takes to answer any question that comes our way!
Thanks,
-Grant
Re: Help with the SUM function, I get "An issue has occurred during processing"
I see,
In my opinion you should do it in a Magic ETL
- Select columns for a list of all Datasets , UserID and Content
- Group by Datasets, UserID and Aggregate COUNT(Content) AS Total_Content_Created
- Add a Formula tile to flag the UserID on a particular Dataset where they have more than 100 Total_Content_Created to equal 1 else 0
- Join the results back to the dataset on Dataset and UserID (This way a user that has created content in multiple dataset , will be only tagged in the one that have created more than 100
- with the Flag already in your main dataset , use it as a filter in your single number card and do a simple COUNT(Distinct UserID)
Re: Transforming Support Staff Name Column
Hi @MycahD - You are on the right track. Do you have a max of 2 support staff per survey? If not, make sure to include up to the max in your split columns.
The next step would be to leverage the DDX brick "Searchable Filter App (Multiple Columns)"
You can follow along with @BenSchein as he walks through how to set up the app on a live stream here:
If you include the columns Support Staff 1, Support Staff 2, 3, … in your search config dataset, then you will be able to search for any single name.
The other option would be to unpivot your data so that you get multiple lines per survey, but a single line per survey and support staff. By doing this you would need to be careful about how you use the dataset because you will possibly be counting surveys multiple times when they have multiple owners.
Re: Graphing multiple metrics in one chart by rank
Hi @tlammie1806
To add to Mark's answer.
Consider splitting the measures into more than one chart (when looking at multiple things at once in a single chart , the message/story you want to tell might get confused)
You can potentially split these metrics into 2 cards containing similar metrics or whatever you thing would go together
Card #1 = Events per Session (Bar) , Avg. Engagement Rate (Bar) and % sessions (Percent line)
Card #2 = %Total Users and %New Users
If you definetly want all metrics into 1 single card, take a look at the Faceted Bar type of card, it is located at the bottom of the list under the Vertical and Horizontal Bars.
Re: Averaging time/returning only whole numbers of a fraction number
@Jbrorby If you wrap a FLOOR() function around your entire formula, it will return the closest whole number without going over
Re: Beast mode to find last working day
@RTM Try this beast mode to include data from 3 days ago if today is Monday or yesterday if today is not Monday. If your users need to look at the data over the weekend, then you will need to add an additional line to subtract 2 days if today is Sunday.
case when DAYNAME(CURRENT_DATE()) = 'Monday' and `Date` = DATE_SUB(CURRENT_DATE(),3) then 'Include' when `Date` = DATE_SUB(CURRENT_DATE(),1) then 'Include' else 'Exclude' end
Re: How can we apply drill down functionality between two dashboards in domo?
@jaymin_63 Sadly, interactions don't work when you want to pass filters between cards and pages. I'm not sure if there's an easier way to do this, but I have been able to do this using a DDX Brick card. You can download DDX brick cards from the appstore in Domo, but they do require a little bit of JavaScript. The DDX brick cards are fully functional at setup and have JS that you can customize. I have used the DDX Map Link Navigation before and made the following update to the onClick function already in the code.
Market is the column name that I'm hoping to pass the selected value from the card to the 2nd dashboard. This is done through a pfilter, which I believe is just a page filter, like the ones that apply at the top of dashboards. As long as you have the dataset selected in the card and have the value and name selected in the DDX brick this should work!
function onClick(name) {
var openInNewWindow = true;
// Using name since that is the passed in argument for the function onClick
var link = 'https://optumcare.domo.com/page/773431254?pfilters=[{"column":"Market","dataType":"string","operand":"IN","values":["' + String(name) + '"]}]';
// console.log(name); - returns ['STATE'] - object, have to cast as String()
domo.navigate(link, openInNewWindow);
// domo.navigate('https://www.google.com/search?q=' + value, openInNewWindow);
}
