Hello Domo community, I am Jeremy Rudd coming to you from the valley of the sun. I am currently a Managing Director at Ideas Collide, a marketing agency in Scottsdale Arizona. Re: Bar chart projection feature
The reason the budget projections are not showing up, unless the 'Last Item Complete' is checked, is that there is not enough data to calculate a regression line for the projection. In order to calculate the regression line (projected values), you must have at least 2 full periods of data. When the 'Last Item Complete' is not checked, it assumes there is only one valid full period to work with which isn't enough to calculate a projection using the regression method. Hope that makes sense!
Re: Cumulative Total Measures
So it works so that every entry on each period shows the same value, which the previous approach wouldn't do, but it's still generating one entry per row even if the values are the same. I recall seeing a similar behavior on another question no long ago, but think no solution for that was provided 😓. I might play with something later today but don't have an answer right now.
