Re: Isolate email addresses from a column using Magic ETL or BeastMode
alternatively you can split part the split part
SPLIT_PART(SPLIT_PART(`Information`, '[',2), ']', 1)
Re: I'm pulling in a column from Salesforce that has over 1024 characters - Text column type limit
We had this limit in one of our datasets. The only way around it was to ask our CSM to increase the column size limit. They can do it on a case-by-case basis.
Re: PERIOD_DIFF
@rmbourne It looks like you are missing the % sign at the beginning of your second DATE_FORMAT function, so your second date is not being properly converted to a date
Re: Unable to Create Same Time vs Yr Ago
I try not to use BETWEEN as I seem to never get it right, try replacing BETWEEN with two comparisons something like:
WEEK_STARTING BETWEEN DATE_SUB(DATE_SUB(CURRENT_DATE(), INTERVAL 1 YEAR), INTERVAL 4 WEEK) AND DATE_SUB(CURRENT_DATE(), INTERVAL 1 YEAR)
Replaced by
WEEK_STARTING >= DATE_SUB(DATE_SUB(CURRENT_DATE(), INTERVAL 1 YEAR), INTERVAL 4 WEEK) AND WEEK_STARTING <= DATE_SUB(CURRENT_DATE(), INTERVAL 1 YEAR)
Perhaps that will help solving the syntax error you're getting.
Datasets not accessed in a while
Does anyone know there is a way to see all the datasets that have this ? I looked around Domostats but could not see anything. I would love to have this as a field in the Datasets Domostats table.

Re: Time Difference in Minutes
You can simplify your beast mode. If either of your fields are NULL then the entire subtraction will be NULL.
(UNIX_TIMESTAMP(`Hospital Ready Time (UTC)`) - UNIX_TIMESTAMP(`Video Start Time (UTC)`)) / 60
Re: How do you get rid of the max, avg and min in a chart
You can do this in the Chart Properties under Grid Lines:
Re: Beast mode CASE calculation for number ranges that have null values in column.
The separation for Null should work, you can do it in several different ways, so your first statement would be:
CASE
WHEN `New_Column_Name` IS NULL THEN 'a) Blank'
…
And from there you cover all the other scenarios. Since case is always checked in order and stops after the first condition met is fulfilled, for example if you have a value of 47, it'll see see that it doesn't fulfill any condition until it reaches the < = 50 at which point it'll stop and return 30-50 as the output, not sure what you mean by duplicate values. Personally I don't trust BETWEEN as it has never really worked for me.
