Re: SUBDate As Filter?
The function you're looking for is DATE_SUB. You can use this, but you'll want to think through your filter. For example, do you have daily data, do you want to compare to the last day of of the month for the given quarter? If your data is updated monthly, then what is the date of that import - maybe it's better to compare month/year for the given quarter, etc. If you automate, you'll need to make sure your methodology is dialed in and behaving as expected.
Re: Last week data
When I'm doing period over period (WoW in your case) analysis I like to restrucutre my data so that each day has a relative entry in the dataset. This will allow you to go back in time and see what the capacity and activity levels were no matter the date. I've done a write up in the past on how to do this here:
Re: Lost Business Beast Mode
You can filter based on the max closed date
CASE WHEN MAX(`closed_date`) FIXED (BY client_id) < CURRENT_DATE() - INTERVAL 2 YEAR THEN 'Stale' ELSE 'Active' END
this will find the max date for each client and allow you to filter for stale values
Re: Multi-Line Chart with a "Stacked" Y-Axis?
@GarethR - there are 2 possible options.
Domo has something called a flex table (see below).
You could also use a faceted bar chart if your output doesn't have to be a line.
Re: how to create a team in domo?
I'm venturing a guess here with very little context. But, to me it sounds like that there is a new team within a department, and they are looking to represent that in Domo. My guess is that the best way to achieve this would be via a group. You can use that group to control access to content in Domo.
Re: Beast Mode Editor Formula List Consistency
This should not be tribal knowledge, and it totally is. Also, the explanations and examples could be much improved. But - first things first…tell us our options!
Pivot Table conditional format
Hello, I have a pivot table card where I need to compare if the value is greater than the goal, and paint that field in red.
How is this possible? I can only compare it to a single value, but it is not the same over the timeframe I have.
Thanks.
Re: Is there a way to conditionally show a column in a pivot table chart
You could filter the column to exclude "In Scope" for all except for Training 1.
case when Order Status != 'Completed' and Lead Source = 'Sales' then 'Exclude' else 'Include' end
For example above you can see we have "Marketing","Organic", and "Sales" listed for both "Completed" and "In Progress". Once we filter to only "Include". We get the following results.
Now, "Sales" is excluded from "In Progress", but left in "Completed". You can use this as a base and swap in your columns and adjust to get your desired output.
Re: SUM('Revenue') BUT IGNORE ALL FILTERS PLEASE!!!
@Charlie Bantoft You can use a FIXED function in Beast mode so your calculation ignores filters like this:
sum(sum(`Revenue`)) FIXED (by `Dimension` FITLER NONE)
