Re: What is the best way to parse URLs?
@MarkSnodgrass - This is one of those times that I wish Domo's documentation kept up with Domo's updates. There is no SPLIT_PART() function listed in the beastmode function list, but it definitely works! I was just able to clean up some really nasty substring() beastmodes :)
Re: Division of Values
@major_ace - the MOD() function is not the same as dividing two values. But, as long as you have the output you are looking for.
Re: Add data to an existing Excel file in Domo?
@ddodd I would probably reach out to support. As a side note the excel plug-in is a different piece of functionality than the straight file upload in Domo, I'm not sure if the plug-in would impact this. I know when you use the API to upload data into Domo you lose that settings option, and I wonder if the same is true with the plug-in.

Re: Filter a specific measure
@Jackie96 I think you could also use the FIXED function to achieve what you're after:

Re: How can we download list of beast mode made on particular Dataset ?
There is a Domo Governance Datasets connector which has several datasets including one on beast modes. You can pull that dataset and filter to a specific dataset ID. You can read up on this here: https://domohelp.domo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360056318074-Domo-Governance-Datasets-Connector
Any plans to create connectors for App Store data?
I understand APIs are provided but any plans to create connectors for the API integrations? Specifically for Apple, Google and Amazon.
Re: beast mode for specific date range
I'm assuming 2021 is a value and not a column. If so, you put single tics around it, which domo thinks is a column called 2021. Remove the tics around 2021 and it should work. Alternatively, you could rewrite it as this:
CASE WHEN YEAR(DATE(`end_date__c`)) = 2021 THEN 2021 ELSE 0 END
Re: beast mode for specific date range
@kodonnellLT is 2021 a column or is it in single quotes? Try removing any column fields are re-adding them by double clicking from the column list.

Re: beast mode for specific date range
You're using backticks (`) for your 2021 value and not a single quote to denote it's a string (')
CASE WHEN `end_date__c` >= '1/01/2021' and `end_date__c` <= '12/31/2021' then '2021' else '0' end
Re: Add data to an existing Excel file in Domo?
@ddodd did you upload this using the file upload in domo? you should see settings as the fourth option (after Overview, Data, and Cards).
if you used workbench, you will have to go into workbench to find the append option.
