Dataset/Card Certification History

Hello,

I was wondering if there is any location in Domo where one can go to to view the history of a dataset and its certification status history. For example I have Dataset A and it is currently certified but a change was made in the ETL and it now has an expired certification. I now need to resubmit the certification for it. Is there anything like the table below?

You can use a window function or fixed function to calculate the row number. The following example will rank them based on the Total Revenue column. You can replace that column with others to get the row number based on other values. This won't take into account ties.

SUM(SUM(1)) OVER (ORDER BY `Total Revenue` DESC)

That's correct, the file upload feature is a static datasource. You would need to manually update the file anytime new data was needed.

If you are looking for regularly updating a shared file... we have used a sharepoint connector or onedrive connector in those scenarios.

I find that the Excel Plug in is not very flexible. My recommendation would be to use the file upload option from Domo instead.

@gbrown You'll want to use an ETL with the Rank & Window tile to create a 'Current Status' column. You'll want to do use RowNumber and order on Timestamp in descending order, and then partition by part number (and owner if a part number can have multiple owners at the same time). This will give the row with the latest time stamp a row number of 1. You'll then filter the rows to only include row number 1 and you can rename your status column to 'Current Status' in order to differentiate it for the original status column. Then join this back to your original data set, and you can filter out in the ETL or on your card, any row that has 'Current Status' = 'Completed'. Then if it ever pops up in the data again and is in process, it will appear again because that's the latest status.

@Rahulbhandari Have you used any other datasets from the Domo Governance Connector? If this is the first one you have created, then you will need to set up an access token (see the "Prerequisites" section of the article @GrantSmith shared).

Otherwise, I suggest you contact Domo Support about this issue.
