Re: Variable Manager (Similar to Beast Mode Manager)
Yes! I second that. Please enhance beast mode manager to also be able to manage variables.
Re: Variable Manager (Similar to Beast Mode Manager)
Completely agree that having a way to manage variables would be helpful, @swagner. Expanding Beast Mode Manager to include variables would be a great way to do it since variables require beast modes to function in cards and dashboards.
Re: Removing or anonymizing PII data?
PII Vault in the appstore is a good tool for this. Check it out in the Domo appstore!
Re: Aggregate a Beast Mode
So on your data, you have the current number of items in a field OnHand? If this is the case, this would seem an ideal scenario for a flex table instead, have you looked at this option and configured the columns to show First Value, Last Value and the change?
Re: Calculated Column Errors - count conditions when like this but not like that
Should work if you remove the then 'Refined' part at the end and move the session_id . See below:
COUNT(DISTINCT CASE WHEN event_name NOT LIKE '%select_item%' and event_name LIKE '%search%' THEN session_id END )
Keep in mind that you are using wildcard characters around select_item and search which will return values that contain characters on either side of that string search.
Re: Has anyone gotten replacement variables to work with the ODBC connector on a consistent basis
This doesn't work for me… frustrating…

Re: How to use Beast Mode to Filter Out Specific Words or Phrases
@user03163 You can create a beast mode like the one below that you can use a as a filter. Using the LIKE operator with the % wildcard will allow you to exclude any records that contain the specified text. In this case searching for "Dup" will also return "Duplicate".
case when `Closed Description` like '%SPAM%' then 'Exclude' when `Closed Description` like '%N/A%' then 'Exclude' when `Closed Description` like '%Dup%' then 'Exclude' else 'Include' end
Re: Help with Beast Mode Formula
Just to be clear each record has a value for A, B and C, which will either be a 1 or 0 since they are basically flags and your card should show a single % based on all the entries that match your filter criteria (including date range).
Can you share the examples of the list of values for A, B and C you're using and how manually you're getting to 9.4%? This will allow us to understand the logic behind how it should be calculated via beast mode, or even better, lets suppose your filtered range would give you these 9 entries:
What would be the result you would expect and can you explain how you're getting to it?
