Re: Paritoning beta. Where to start?
@user029082 I suggest checking out this recording from one of the previous Lunch & Learn streams. There are some great examples and use cases for partitioning!
Re: Triggering "full screen" through URL
@UncleLeoTheDad Have you tried making a Slideshow of your dashboards? They're really handy for cycling through multiple cards on large screens and making it easier to read
Re: Effect of DataSet View Calculated Columns on Performance
As a view is processed when the data is accessed/visualized in a graph so it can affect the performance of the graphs loading on a dashboard. Moving the logic into a Dataflow will remove the processing of the logic when loading the graphs/dashboard. The caveat to this is that if your dashboard is utilizing filtering your logic won't take the filters into account.
Re: What API do I need to pull data from a website?
It depends on the platform and if they have an accessible API or not. There are other scripting language options you can do but require a bit of technical expertise like Python and Beautiful Soup or Selenium.
Re: ETL | Alter Columns Tile | 'add select all columns'
Hi Timehat!
That's correct, we are bulk renaming and data type altering for all columns that are coming in from dynamic API customer connector builds. This would allow us to have the ability to add all columns in bulk to then alter names and data types in a more expeditious fashion. Any new fields from the API will pass through as necessary..
Thank you!
Re: Freeze Page Pane
So many of our clients have Domo in the first place to aggregate all of their business units into a single pane of glass. Most , if not all, of their metrics are being configured with slicers and push-button filters by division, location, or business unit. Having that filter card stay in place on the side of the page or at the top of the page would make for such a clean look and experience for them. Strong upvote for this one!
Re: Freeze Page Pane
Yes please! That is one feature that Power BI has on the side, and our data partners using this feature against us - domo believers!

Re: Freeze Page Pane
Would love this feature including the option to freeze the filters at the top and bottom if required
Re: Variable Manager (Similar to Beast Mode Manager)
This is a great idea! I would also love to manage variables from beast mode manager.
Re: Variable Manager (Similar to Beast Mode Manager)
I am experiencing same struggles as @swagner. as per Maria's suggestion Expanding Beast Mode Manager to include variables would be most logical way to go about it
