Re: locks = locks?
Perhaps not the best way, but to your ETL that builds that DataSet, I'd add a calculated column that tells you the difference between the 2 values and another one that would just flag if the date is older than your threshold (in this case 7 days).
You'll have a formula tile in your ETL that will do both calculations, something like
IsOlderThanThreshold
CASE WHEN `PowerLenderLockDate` <= CURDATE() - Interval 7 Day THEN 'True' ELSE 'False' END
Delta
Rate_locks_powerlender - Rate_locks_powerseller
With this I'd then do the Alert as follows:
- Trigger Depends on whether your ETL does replace or append.
- Filters
- IsOlderThanThreshold equals True
- Delta is not equal to 0
This has the advantage that it won't only notify you when the entry 0 days ago is not 0, but whenever an older entry may stop being compliant. Hope this helps.
Re: Ability to remove unnecessary columns directly in the input DataSet before loading all its rows
I totally agree,
having the possibility to drop some columns before processing
sometime could save a lot of execution time.
that's a must-have feature!
Re: Beast Mode calculation when data is in rows and then how to chart
@BigWave Based on the data you provided, you should be able to use the beast modes below to without any additional manipulation:
% Female
sum(case when `Split answer` = 'Female' then `Value` else 0 end) / sum(`Value`)
% Male
sum(case when `Split answer` = 'Male' then `Value` else 0 end) / sum(`Value`)
If you just want the count of each answer, you can create 2 additional beast modes using just the numerators of the examples above.
Re: Average Length of Stay in Beastmode
@AshleySizemore Are both of your columns stored as date fields? If they aren't, then you will have to convert them to date. Otherwise I'd suggest closing out of Analyzer and trying again.
Re: How do you remove some column data?
I'd suggest using a beastmode as a filter with 2 conditions:
- Is an email
- is false
That way, non-email rows that are false will remain. It would look something like this:
CASE WHEN `type` = 'email' AND `engagement_bodypreviewistruncated` = 'false' THEN 'out' ELSE 'in' END
Then drag the beastmode into the filter section in analyzer and select "In" as in.
Switch Dataset Dynamically
Can we switch dataset (not database) dynamically while running report in Domo ?
Re: Date Format change
@louiswatson You can use the STR_TO_DATE() function to convert those values to date like this:
STR_TO_DATE(`DateField`,'%d/%b/%Y')
The second argument of the function uses these date format specifiers to specify what format the existing field uses.
Re: Storing refesh token with access token
Hi,
Is anyone able to help out with this request?
Thanks,
Re: How to display inventory total value over the past 5 days
In the date range filter, change your Graph By to Day instead of Year.
Re: Field Use Export
@renee12345 Yes, you can use the "Card Fields with Beast Modes" report from the Domo Governance connector. It will tell you which fields are used on each card.
