Box connector importing a numeric value as text.

Hi 

 

I'm importing a .csv file via the box connector.  The file contains numeric values such as revenue.  The revenue value is formatted as "number" when viewed using excel.  When i export the file from the box connector, i'm finding that the revenue variable be converted to text.  Any thoughts on why this could be happening?

    @jeffcavalloI find that when this happens I usually have a text value in one of the cells. I'll usually pull it into excel and then sort the column to see if there is an odd value that is technically a "string".

     

    If that's not the case, you may need to reach out to DomoSupport.
