Is there a limit to number of categories in a card?

Hi, fairly new to Domo so okay to laugh at my question. 

I built a card and built a beast mode calculation.  I validated it and used it to sort.  I have added more categories and now no longer see that beast mode I made.  

Made another beast mode for something else and again doesn't show under categories or values.  

Could it be a limit to the number of category fields?
