Anyone else experiencing dataparts from SQL Server not having the ability to filter asc or desc?

I pull dataparts from SAP and SalesForce with SQL. In DOMO the dates aren't in any order they populate the reports in random order? Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

    make sure the field is being loaded as a date or datetime data type into Domo. then you can add a sort in your chart using the field.
