I run into this too, but I don’t recall it ever behaving any differently. I used to find myself having to reset everything and rebuilding the group by with the additional category columns. A work-around that I’ve discovered is to use the SQL editor to alter the group by.

Me too. Come on Domo - everyone else has done this.
For all users still wishing to force dark mode, there are various browser add ons which create dark mode.. consider installing one of them whilst Domo build a more robust, usable solution.

I'm seeing this in the FAQ for the File Upload Connector, is it possible you're hitting save before the preview appears?
Why am I getting updates with the previously uploaded file?
When you update the existing dataset by uploading a file, a preview screen appears in the Select tables pane after the file is uploaded. When you click SAVE before the preview screen appears, then the file will be updated using the previously uploaded file, so it is recommended that you wait until the preview is screen appears and then click the SAVE button in the Select tables pane.
Decimals in Input Dataset not carrying over to Output Dataset
Hi all,
I am working on creating a DataFlow as I needed to format a column from text to a date. During this process, it changed 'Net Change USD' from a Fixed Decimal to an Integer if I don't alter the column. I have altered the column to show 'Net Change USD' as a fixed decimal but it changed to just a decimal with the values still getting dropped (screenshot attached). Below is a screenshot of the column from the input and then output dataset. I also attached a screenshot of my dataflow including the formula I use for a different column incase that is causing the issue. I don't touch Net Change USD anywhere else, so I am not sure why the fixed decimal values are not carrying over.

Cbrack, thanks for posting your problem…I'm running into a similar problem with the Excel Addin. My issue has to do with filters that I have on various cards (so similar to your date range selection problem) and when I go to refresh a card that I've been using for the last 12 months or so, it'll download all of the data as though I did not have a filter on the card. I tried turning the filters on/off of the existing cards and it didn't solve the problem. I also went down the path of adding new sheets and opening up new Excel workbooks and the initial download of the data with the filters applied would work but any time I refresh, it would be as though I didn't have a filter on the card. I've just started working with Support and one of their solves works and that is using the "Filter View" and applying the same filter to all of the cards in the Excel file. While it works, it doesn't help me with the files that have a number of cards with a bunch of unique filters applied to each card (I would need to create individual files for each unique set of filters that I would want on a card or cards). I'll follow up if I end up with a better solution. My guess is that the latest App Version 2.0.20 that had a Build Date of 6/21/24 has screwed up some portion of the population using the Excel Addin…so you are not alone and hopefully we can come up with a solution that resolves this problem. Please follow up if you figure out a solve. Thanks!
