we have opened the support case, and turned out it does not work with View Datasets. So changed to dataflow output datasets and it works. It mentioned in documentation, but we overlooked.

Hmm then it must be something in how you have the alert configured. If you don't believe that is the case, you can submit a support case to Domo support to investigate: https://www.domo.com/login/customer-community

• Change: +22,209 rows

Now review your alert rule in your post:

• Rule
• Any row has changes for column(s): 'Row Count, Tag'
• Row Count decreases by 1
• Tag is equal to audit:frequency

That’s a bit confusing, because the UI sometimes shows decreases by 1 even if you originally meant decreases by 1%.

Your alert is specifically set to trigger when Row Count decreases (not increases). It looks for a decrease of exactly 1 row, combined with the tag. In your case, the row count increased by 22,209, so this condition should not be satisfied.
