Re: Sort by Top 20
@chrissy Instead of using the "Limit Rows" feature in analyzer, add a filter to your card using the Row number field you created in your ETL to only include rows where the row number is less than or equal to 20
Re: SQL in ETL
Unfortunately, it looks like INSTR and LOCATE have their arguments reversed. For INSTR() it needs to be INSTR(trailid,'G2'), for example.
Re: How to count strings in a column containing a comma delimited list of strings in each row
You should be able to do a calculated field such as
CASE when City like '%New York%' then 'New York'
when City like '%San Diego%' then 'San Diego'
when City like '%San Francisco%' then 'San Francisco'
when City like '%Boston%' then 'Boston'
when City like '%Topeka%' then 'Topeka'
end
or
CASE when INSTR(City,'New York')>0 then 'New York'
when INSTR(City,'San Diego')>0 then 'San Diego'
when INSTR(City,'Boston')>0 then 'Boston'
when INSTR(City,'San Francisco')>0 then 'San Francisco'
when INSTR(City,'Topeka')>0 then 'Topeka'
end
Then use the field in a bar chart
Re: Request for Topics
This is super helpful, everyone! I really appreciate the input. I'm adding all of these topics to our discussion pool and will work with my team to plan ways to incorporate them.
If other ideas come up, please keep them coming!

Re: Is there a way in Domo to show/hide columns in a table type of card ?
Hi @vgupta, currently there isn't a way for users to conditionally hide columns on a table card front-end. You can tailor the the way that card is shown through PDP so that certain user groups can access relevant values.

Re: Sandbox
Hi @renee12345, I believe changes can be promoted from Sandbox to Prod and that you'll need to create another instance in Repositories for any subsequent changes (i.e. Prod to Sandbox).
@G_Woo, hi mate, is what I've noted correct and if not please share what you know.

Re: Sandbox
Hi @renee12345, to your point on there being one article [https://domo-support.domo.com/s/article/000005059?language=en_US] only essentially, best to have your / your company's customer success representative from Domo give a good walkthrough of the Sandbox feature. On your question, when you are in Sandbox, you create a new repository and then can select which Object Type and items you want included. The article uses cards/charts, images as examples but it should also enable adding datasets.

Re: Does anyone use the Entrata connector?
Hi @ScottLeeds, sorry I don't have experience with Entrata. It seems that the JSON code should be something that Entrata support can provide so please reach out to them, and if that's not successful, then reach out to Domo support.

Re: Does anyone use the Entrata connector?
Hi @ScottLeeds, the data, using the Entrata connector and many others in the Domo catelogue, can be updated as often as once an hour. Regarding email connector, the update is dependent on how the report has been setup but usually, yes, it is once a day through that option.
Let me know if there are any other questions.
