Re: Variables - where can I manage/view all in my instance?
Hi @swagner
You're correct in that they're not available in Beast Mode Manager and the two DomoStats datasets don't give you additional information about the variables other than the name and where it's being used. It doesn't have the actual values defined for each variable. I'd recommend adding an enhancement request to the idea exchange to get more information or details about variables into DomoStats.
Re: Stacked Waterfall Graph
Oh, noticing that the series maintains their color across the X axis (mobiles, tablets) etc.
that's an interesting feature.
Re: Allow transparent background on cards
looks like you can change the background of cards or dashboards to 100% transparent, but having finer control over opacity (percent slider) might be nice!
"In Domo Stories, you can change the background color of Dashboards as well as cards. This is not possible in standard Dashboards. "
supposedly there's a feature in development at Domo that will allow finer control over dashboard design…
Change chart sort order based on variable value.
Hi,
I have created a variable that I am using on the y-axis of a bar chart. With the toggle letting switch between categorical and date values. I would like to be able to alternate how the y-axis is sorted based on which variable value is currently on the chart:
Date values: The date values are calculated by year and I would like the data sorted from the most recent to oldest year.
Categorical: Have the data sorted by total value in descending order.
When trying to sort the values manually in descending order everything looks fine except for date values which are then out of order based on the date values.
Is there a beast mode or setting that I can create that allows the sort order to dynamically change based on the data type of the variable?
Re: Can't embed new dashboards, has API changed?
Is it Just that one dashboard or can you create another new blank dashboard and test with that embed id to see if you run into the same error? Have you tried disabling the embed for that page and then enabling it again?
