Controlling Page-Level access in App Studio
I've built a KPI app in the App studio but have two different user groups that have different needs for the type of content they want to see. lets call them group A and group B. Group A needs to see bigger trends, while group B needs to see a more granular view. I'd like to be able to hide/show different pages in my app based off of the user group. so for example, Group A would be able to see (Home Page, Page 1, Page 2) while group B would be only see (Home Page, Page 3, Page 4).
Right now all i can figure out how to do is control overall app access and i can also hide pages from the Nav bar (but not as far as I can tell with any specific control over which group to hide from. seems like its all or nothing).
Is what Im trying to do possible? should I just throw in the towel and create/support two similar but slightly different apps?

Mark Snodgrass has a really good tutorial on using InkScape. I think you could create a custom map that has a little "cloud" or "computer" area that represents your ecom stores and maintain a full Canada province set as well. Inkscape can be a little challenging to figure out but once you get the layers & boundaries working it's pretty straightforward, and @MarkSnodgrass does a great job explaining it.

Hey all,
Has anyone heard of any rumblings about adding a Delete Button in Beast Mode Manager? I have a customer claiming they were told that was coming so I wanted to bounce that off someone.

Agreed, the ability to programmatically hide tabs/pages within app studio would be a great value add!
The use-case we have is embedding app studio in our product for our customers. Our customers have different content that is relevant to different users. It would be great if we can have a single app that we embed and programmatically filter which tabs/pages a given user can see based on their attributes (or 'personas'). The alternative we face at the moment is maintaining several versions of the same app with overlapping content (the difference being which combination of pages are included in each app).

Re: 401 Error Even In Web API
The Access Token isn't the same as a Bearer Token that you need to generate. You'd need to call the appropriate Generate Token endpoint on the api.domo.com server to get your Bearer token to use for future API calls.
The Access Token is used for the internal product calls to yourinstance.domo.com and not the api.domo.com.

Hi, @verytiredgirl - thanks for the question! I'm glad I can weigh in and hopefully address it for you and others.
Our long-term strategy is to deprecate the Domo Governance connector and encourage our customers to adopt DomoStats instead. In order to do that, we obviously have to ensure DomoStats provides equivalent data that allow you to answer all the same questions you currently go to the Governance connector for. Our recent release of the PDP - Row Policy reports in DomoStats (currently in beta) is just another step in that direction.
Once those reports are available GA, my recommendation to all customers is to use the DomoStats connector for PDP data. And, if you want to use the DomoStats reports in beta, if you're already using these reports and find gaps relative to the Domo Governance connector, please reach out to your Domo account team.
