Re: What are the row limitations of dataset views which we create using view explorer?
I have not heard of a row limit on dataset views. In fact, it is often used on larger datasets, so I wouldn't think there would be a limit. Are you getting an error that is telling you there is a limit?
Re: How many datasets we can join/union in view explorer?
There is no limit listed in the Domo documentation. Certainly, the more joins you add, the bigger hit on performance, so that will be something to consider. You can try sending an e-mail to Domo Support and see if they will give you an exact number, if there is one.

Hello,
Glad to be on the forums and already getting value.
I'm originally from Idaho Falls, ID but now live in Birmingham Alabama.
My career has been interesting, starting at Oracle in tech support and then going to a contract data engineer job, to now having spent the past 3 years remote for 3 different companies (layoffs and a better opportunity), it has been a ride.
I enjoy spending my days in SQL development, and hope Domo will allow us to make ETL's directly in SQL soon. I have tried to learn Python a few times but it's very hard to gain traction when it's not used in my day job.
Walker generates leads for law firms and sells them, it's been an interesting industry to learn.
I've got several hobbies:
- Mountain Biking
- Dirtbiking
- Road biking
- Bitcoin (not crypto)
- Podcasting
- Working out with F3Nation
- Investing

Re: Help with Bar Chart formatting
You might need to apply an aggregation to your Dat Avg CPL field. Based on the field name, try adding the AVG() function around it.
Re: What is the best way to present data that has categories and subcategories
Domo also has a handy graphic on helping to choose different chart types depending on your data. You can reference it here:

@lawiti I like the treemap pie and funnel chart. You can plug in different data points using tooltip fields/hover text options.

Here's a video walkthrough on setting it up.
