Re: Looking to create a benchmarking bar chart showing +/- % from prior year
This would depend on how your dataset is structured. Could you share some more info about your data? Is the prior year benchmark in your dataset already? Or would that need to be calculated as well?
I'm pretty sure this is doable with a beastmode and a trellis category.
DDX Form and Dataset Brick
Hello
I want to use this brick:
However ' Sync Now ' button does not trigger any action…my web_form does not gather any input. SyncToDataset is set to 'true'. Any thoughts?
Re: Check for condition against the whole
Here's how to solve in Magic ETL:
- Group By:
2. Join Flags
3. Filter to desired flags
Re: Heat map totals to use AVERAGE instead of SUM
Hi @michelleH - thanks for your responses. I can't seem to get total rows and columns to use the same aggregation and I've tried your formula (thank you) but it's still not right (same result as before actually). I'll tinker around with it. Thanks again.
Re: Getting the Avg Days, Avg Hours, Avg Minutes
The issue that you will run into with @DavidChurchman solution is that the field will then be a text value and you will not be able to get an average.
I would use something like this to get the number of seconds between the two values.
You can then find the average of that numeric value. Then the issue becomes one of converting the average seconds between the two values to the format you want.
Re: Getting the Avg Days, Avg Hours, Avg Minutes
all of your Closed Dates are actually occurring prior to the open date? From your screenshot, all of the elapsed times will be negative.
Re: Getting the Avg Days, Avg Hours, Avg Minutes
Hi @Zel
What do your input datasets look like? Also, are you wanting the ETL to calculate the Averages for you, or are you going to find the average at the card level?
Re: Reporting/Exporting Domo Cards in a specific visualization
There is a Domo Governance dataset called "Pages and Cards". You can access this in the appstore by searching "Domo Governance Datasets Connector". Each card has a unique Card ID as the identifier. Note that a unique card may exist on multiple pages simultaneously.
Re: NESTED BEAST MODE
It sounds like the error message is saying that you can only reference a single calculated field. Because your calculated field was already referencing another calculated field you were getting the error.
You have one beastmode, we will call that A. You then have another calculation, B, that references A.
What the error is suggesting is that you cannot create a third calculation, C, that references B. You can only have two "layers". Hope that helps.
Re: How to calculate count of Devices as per country using beast mode ?
@Priyanka check your sorting and date range. Incorrect sorting or graph by settings in the date range can cause data to not be aggregated as intended. As an exercise you can remove sorting fields and in graph by select "none"
