Re: Is there a way for a DDX brick to go outside of its frame?
Due to how DDX bricks are designed and iframes work in general this isn't possible. <iframe> is another separate browser window. It's just a means of 'seeing' inside that web document through your parent document. It's different than a normal in which you can extend elements outside of its margins.
Also, it is considered a security vulnerability for other sites to be able to place content outside their given space.
Re: Create Nested Beast Mode that nest more than two levels
If we could nest beast modes 5-10 levels, that would make it way easier for us to write complex formulas.
It would also be great if we could click a button to unnest the beast mode so we can see what the full formula looks like without opening it in a new window.
Thanks!

Re: Tracking Cards with Errors
The DomoStats connector has a new dataset called Card Loads which will return an error code to see if it was a Success or not.
Re: Data Labels should default as the Field Name
YES PLEASE! I keep meaning to put this one in!
Re: Ability to impersonate a user
This idea has already been submitted here:
Consider adding your vote to this idea and hopefully it will be implemented by Domo at some point.
Re: What exactly am I supposed to submit on a MajorDomo Practical Test?
You don't have to do the recording, just the screenshots. Cheers!
Re: What exactly am I supposed to submit on a MajorDomo Practical Test?
Congrats on making your way through the exams!
If I recall, you can either record a video or submit screenshots, whichever is easier for you. You don't need to do both.
Re: How to change smart text in the card title to show current date/ last updated date?
Currently this isn't an option within the smart text. I'd recommend adding an idea to the idea exchange.
You can utilize an ETL to populate a field within your dataset to show the date / timestamp when the data was updated in your dataset and then use that field in the smart text.
Re: How to change smart text in the card title to show current date/ last updated date?
The only way currently to get that custom formatting is in a separate card that you could place next to the card on the dashboard. I would recommend adding an idea to the ideas exchange for a dataset last updated date display smart text.
Re: Pivot table conditional formatting for text and column totals to the left
I haven't found Domo to be very flexible in creating cards with different borders or colors. I don't know a simple way to do this, but you could try it with a some kind of html chart that uses CSS.
/* Default text color */
.myValue {
color: green;
}
/* Text color when condition is met */
.myValue {
color: red;
}
