Re: Release Notes - What Changed
I merged two threads around release notes and silent releases. I think many have heard me speak passionately about the need for continued transparency around releases for customers and also internally for our support teams on the front line. We have created new reporting for our support teams to have more visibility to our minor releases (which generally occur on tuesdays and thursdays). We are working on what the proper process is to share more of these publicly. In 2024, we have moved to 6 formal feature releases (up from 3 in prior years) and these include the more formal web notes ( ) and support release notes ( ) . We will continue to push for more transparency.
Also sharing the attached PDF which I use to talk about our overall product lifecycle at Domo including security, QA etc.
Re: Ignore some page filters in cards or pages
i have found a solution if anyone is intreseted.
you get the embedded card URL
place this in an iframe in a ddx card .
in the ddx you use load a webform with the same filters you would like to apply the values can be empty or null.
you apply a page filter "Pfilter" to the embedded card URL .
now you can pick and choose what page filters and what card filters affect your card in the main dashboard.
the ddx acts as a gateways. the beneifit is you can apply variables as filters also via javascript
Re: Anybody out there have experience connecting to D365 Finance & Operations?
@Jessica_Davies , we had trouble, but then reached out to our AE who connected us with an internal Domo contact. Helped us connect and walked us through each step. :) I suggest reaching out to yours.
WorkFlow Code Engine Help
Good morning,
I am following along with the below Workflow Onboarding video from Dan. He mentions having a separate video for making a new code engine package, this one titled Page Manipulation, I was wondering if anyone had the link to that video, if it exists?https://domosoftware.sharepoint.com/sites/ProductMarketing/_layouts/15/stream.aspx?id=%2Fsites%2FProductMarketing%2FShared%20Documents%2FBy%20Product%2FWorkflows%2FCompleted%20BOM%2F23%2Dworkflows%2Donboarding%2Dv4%2Emp4&ga=1&referrer=StreamWebApp%2EWeb&referrerScenario=AddressBarCopied%2Eview
Thanks,

Re: How do I logout of a domo instance?
Are you doing a platform embed? There should be a profile icon in the upper right for you to log out of.
I know you can access the logout link directly: https://{customer}.domo.com/auth/signout
Re: Add true card view reporting
@SherryR - love this idea! Upvote from me for sure. Would help to really understand how people are using/viewing/interacting with the data to make decisions on what to keep/remove.
Re: Can I turn over provisioning of new Domo users to my internal IT team to handle it all using Okta?
Hi @TiagoV - apologies to you and to the community for my lack of follow-up on this one! It took a while to get a final answer and I lost sight of my comment here.
So it turned out the org had previously configured an integration with Okta that was passing user attributes that we were leveraging to define Dynamic Groups in Domo. The reason we weren't seeing users get automatically created was a checkbox. Under the SAML (SSO) settings under Authentication in the Admin panel, we had to uncheck the box in "Advanced settings" for "Only invited people can access Domo."
For deprovisioning, we went with using Tray to receive an Okta deprovisioning webhook signal to then send an API call to Domo to change the user to a "Social" role, which basically shuts off user access but preserves anything tied to their user in Domo. (Users can be removed later if needed manually in Domo once all migrations are complete.)
Hope that helps!
