Re: Filter to Last 12 Months (dynamic)
I had a meeting yesterday with Ryan Moody and Zack Cameron from Domo and I took the opportunity to ask them for help. They gave me the solution!
In am posting this in case others have the same question.
Here is a short video I put together that provides the solution.

Add Period over Period to Global Date Filter in Filter Bar
I want a user to be able to select whether the Period over Period ranges for a whole page (so it updates all cards on the page that use Period over Period).
For example, they want :
- Year over year
- quarter over quarter (last quarter or same quarter last year)
- Last 7 days vs 7 days before that..
- etc..
Then they can select it themselves in the filter bar and save it as a filter.
Currently the only workaround I've found is to great duplicate pages with different period over period ranges selected.
Beast Modes for Column Headers
I have a table card that shows data over a static 6 week period and a rolling 6 week period.
Because of this the date ranges for each week would change depending on when the dataset was last updated.
It would be awesome to have column headers that are based on a beast mode so that they can change dynamically.
Re: Set the default value of date type Variable to current date or today's date
I agree this is a must have.
Thanks

Re: Set the default value of date type Variable to current date or today's date

and specifically I would need to have the possibilty to select the current month or week 😃

Thank you very much!
Preview PDF Export
Creating PDFs is an important product feature in Domo. However, when you go to export a PDF in Domo, you are not able to preview it first to see if the PDF is formatted correctly. It would be great if a preview was provided first.
Scroll On Dashboard/Story Cards
I posted this in the card building section about a week ago seeing if anyone had a solution, but it looks like a lot of people come across the same issue so I thought it would be fitting to put it in here.
There are some table cards that have enough columns and rows to limit the number shown in a story dashboard. It would be helpful to have the ability to scroll through the columns and rows while in the dashboard view so the user does not need to open the card in a new page.
Re: Checkbox Selector not showing all values?
If you don't have anything in the optional group by field, I would put the same field that you have in the items field into the optional group by and choose count as the aggregation type. I would also check the date range filter if your dataset has a date field and see which field it is using for the date range. If your dataset has multiple date fields, Domo may be choosing a date field that is incomplete, causing not all fields to display.
If neither of those fix the problem, selecting Reset Chart Properties can help as well. Also, I'm assuming there is nothing in the filter properties that would exclude one of your items.
