Auto-Hide Buzz on Default
I would prefer to have an option in the admin panel to enable auto-hide for Buzz for new users. It is quite intrusive for a UI and UX perspective and for some windows machine with low res screen, Buzz can sometime literally take up 1/3 or 1/2 the screen real estate and proceeded to squash the beautiful dashboard contents they were meant to be focusing on.
On top of that the UI of Buzz isn't exactly user friendly as many times I struggle to direct users where to go to hide them.
So here's my suggestion:
- Enable auto-hide for Buzz by default in the admin console
- Have Buzz as a floating slider so the dashboard content do not get pushed and squeezed, or ability to pin it much like Dashboard menu slider on the left side of the screen

Add ability to get Email address from dataset for Alert
As a simple example, a requirement to have devices updated to the latest operating system.
By setting up the dataflow to flag records that don't meet the criteria, then send an email alert to the email address in the specified column.
Rather than sending alerts to all people subscribed or that have access, or even all managers, by enabling a column to be set as the "recipient" for an alert, above would then trigger an email to only Fred and Alan.
Adding field to show beast modes not used in a card
Adding a field to the Governance: Beast Modes with Field dataset, that includes Beast Modes not used in a card.
Currently there is no reporting to identify beast modes not used in a card without going into Beast Mode Manager, that could be used for Domo instance clean-up.
FIXED Function - Static Filters
FILTER ALLOW/DENY is the most useful piece of FIXED for me. What would juice up its usefulness to the next level is an ability to use static filters in the function.
For example -
SUM(SUM(`totalSales`) FIXED (FILTER `Client`='ABC Company'))
Beyond simply allowing or denying field filters to affect the calculation, you could dictate the filter state directly in the function. This would replicate what Microsoft/Power BI did with CALCULATE(SUM(`totalSales`),FILTER(`Client`="ABC Company")).
Ability to use multiple filters would take it a step even further:
SUM(SUM(`totalSales`) FIXED (FILTER `Client`='ABC Company', `salesPerson`<>'John Smith'))

Re: Pivot Table - More control over subtotal rows
This is a pain point for us here at GE HealthCare as well. It would be great if this enhancement request can get some traction 😊

App Store Clarification
Can we update the App Store to show the current version of an App (and date of release for the version history) so that users are not confused by seeing version 1.0 for everything? It would also be great if we can make the App Store have buttons that reflect 'Update' instead of 'Get Trial' for clients that already have an app downloaded (i.e. not using a trial version).
Cookies on Domo Everywhere
Ability to access Domo embed via Edge requires user intervention for them to "Request cookie access". This is to do with blocking third party cookies.
Users using Safari are unable to login at all preventing their ability to use Domo embed.
Can we speed up the process to enable a cookieless seamless cross browser experience for Domo embed on both Safari and Edge?
Add Hover Text options to column headers in a table card
It would be incredibly helpful if, in addition to the formatting options, the dropdown of a column header in a table card had an option for 'hover text value' this would allow us to shorten the column header while still allowing the user to get more context about the formula/calculation
Re: How to change which day of the week is the beginning?
Hi New_to_DOMO, there is a way to change it through the fiscal calendar feature. If you submit a request to the customer support team, they will send it up to the Fiscal Calendar team to adjust your week starts to begin on Monday instead of Sunday.
Hope this helps,
