Re: Api fails for filters
Also how did you go with the 404 error? Did Support give reasons to why that was happening and how to resolve it?

Re: How to build card|total headcount based on the Hire date and termination date
Hi @Abhijith, for your first Q, as a start, this is an option to get total employees active:
COUNT(
CASE
WHEN status = 'A'
AND 'Hire Date' <= DATE_FORMAT(CURRENT_DATE(),'%d/%m/%Y')
AND 'Termination Date' IS NULL
THEN 'ID Number'
ELSE 0
END)
You could use 'COUNT(DISTINCT ... ' in the front instead.
To get the graph view by month, an option is to bring in another date field as a check of activeness (such as a 'login date' field or similar). This is where ETL comes in, a dataset that has a daily log of employees, that you can join by ID number.

Re: How to build card for DOMO?
@bhakti, hope you've had a chance to look through the introduction videos and attempted to build some card. If you have any specific cards you are looking to create and you are unsure, make a new post as the Dojo is always happy to help.

Re: Where did the Salesforce Advanced Connector go??
The connector is still there and hasn't been decommissioned or anything like that
Could you please share what error message you are receiving, and if there have been any recent changes to settings etc based on your Dataset history?

Re: Where did the Salesforce Advanced Connector go??
It's also worth looping in Support [support.domo.com] to have them look at it as well (and escalate to Dev if it turns out to be a bug in the connector).

Domo Ideas Exchange - Beast Modes - First / Last Days of the Month / Week
Problem:
How Do I calculate the start or end date of the week or month?
Solution:
Last Day of the Month:
This is fairly simple as we can use utilize the LAST_DAY function which will return the last day of the month for the provided date.
LAST_DAY(`dt`)
First Day of the Month:
For this we can do some simple math to subtract a specific number of days. We need to get back to day one. The DAYOFMONTH function will return the day number of the supplied date. We just need to subtract one less from the date's day number
-- Author: -- Created: -- Last Modified: -- Description: Subtract the number of days of the date (except one) to get the first of the month -- 24-(24-1) => day 24 - 23 days = day 1 DATE_SUB(`dt`, INTERVAL (DAYOFMONTH(`dt`) - 1) DAY)
Last Day of the Week:
Similar to the first day of the month we can utilize math to add a specific number of days to get to Saturday. There is a function called DAYOFWEEK which will return a number between 1 (Sunday) and 7 (Saturday). We simply need to calculate the difference from the given date to Saturday and add that number of days.
-- Author: -- Created: -- Last Modified: -- Description: Get the last day of the week. -- This is done by getting the day of the week (1-7) and adding the number -- of days needed to equal 7 (Saturday) DATE_ADD(`dt`, INTERVAL (7- DAYOFWEEK(`dt`)) DAY)
First Day of the Week:
For the First day of the week we do the opposite of the Last Day of the Week and subtract days until we get to day 1 of the week.
-- Author: -- Created: -- Last Modified: -- Description: Get the first day of the week -- This is done by subtracting the day number (1-7) from the given date. -- 5 (Thursday) - (5-1) days => 5 - 4 = 1 (Sunday) DATE_SUB(`dt`, INTERVAL (DAYOFWEEK(`dt`) - 1) DAY)
Re: Adobe Analytics JWT v2 Connector Multiple Segments
Hi @t238, how did you go with this?
Admittedly, there's not much resources available online on Adobe Analytics connectors and Domo but what I understand from this article [https://domohelp.domo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360063205353-Adobe-Analytics-API-v2-Connector-with-JWT-authentication-and-Partition-Support], there's a limit to the segments you can bring through your report (i.e. Just 1 segment). Using the OAuth route, you can bring in multiple segments but that has a token refresh limitation. It's worth bringing your case to your Customer Success representative and/or arranging consulting hours if you haven't already and want to avoid the workaround of having multiple reports setup through JWT.
Also, there's the option of creating the report on the AA Workspace and then setting up a email forwarding connector to Domo. Food for thought if anything else.

Set default formatting for a field (on cards) on the dataset
I hate adding currency fields to cards in DOMO, super frustating..
EVERY time I have to do this:
- format
- Set currency to $
- remove decimal places
I'd like to set this once (as a default) at the dataset level.. then be able to override in card if I need to.. Save so much time..

Remove hyperlink from scheduled report
it would be nicer to offer a quiet experience to our customers. The link in the whole mail makes browsing unpleasant.
