Re: APP STUDIO Q&A from Domopalooza
@chapman Thank you for expanding on that. Yes, we do plan on adding some of those existing options as enhancements to App Studio embed as well. We currently do not have an ETA on the same, but they are on our future roadmap.
Re: WE NEED YOUR FEEDBACK: What topics would you like to see covered during our monthly meet-ups?
I'd love to see some examples of well-designed and function rich dashboards using the new AppStudio feature in combination with Workflows.
Re: Is there a way to map more than 2 lat/long points for a route?
@ActivelyLearning123 I don't believe there is a chart type that allows for multiple points, but I've been able to accomplish something similar by structuring my data so that each row represents a "leg" of the route and using a route name as the series for coloring. Here is an example of how to structure the data:
Re: JSon file in Domo
Colemen's answer refers to having json coming through an API. As Jason mentions, the workbench can simply load it in from a file. Find Domo Workbench under Admin > Tools.

There are a few connectors you could look at:

Re: Pivot Data in ETL
@TMonty0319 I'm not aware of a systematic way to do this. However, I also don't recommend using Magic ETL to pivot date fields for a few reasons:
- This eliminates the date field, which means you can no longer use date-based filtering (This Week, YTD, etc.)
- Every new date would add another column, which you would then have to add to your card
Have you considered changing your "Task Cmpleted" column to have binary 1 and 0 values in the dataset's current structure so that you have a numeric value for a pivot table card?
Re: GPT for Text/Sentiment Analysis
NLTK is available for the Python scripting tiles in MagicETL 2.0, and offers sentiment analysis. You could also use NLTK in a Jupyter notebook.
Using an LLM like ChatGPT could help get you started with Python, NLTK & VADER to get your sentiment analysis code up and running in Magic 2.0
Re: Domo Office Add-In - Relative Date Filters
Hi!
I agree. I work with the PPT plugin and I have the same issue. The legacy plugin used to have the custom date filter enabled but in the past months it got discontinued as well.
For the O365 plugin, if we could have the ability to customize the date range once all the cards are added into the document (rather than adjusting the dates on every element separately), it would be great!
Thanks!

Re: Add dynamic columns in variable dashboards
This would also be helpful in the following scenario…
Let's say we have revenue data in a table from the past 10 years by client, by month. If we create a card and use the 'Last…13 month' date range it filters out any clients that do not have revenue in the last 13 months instead of showing them at $0.
With dynamic column names we could create 13 columns for each of the past 13 months and then set the date range filter to 'All Time' allowing all us to see all clients that have had revenue at any time and how they have done recently.
