Re: Allow manual refresh of Cloud Amplifier / Federated dataset schema
Since joining Domo a little over a month ago, I've heard a few requests for a manual "Refresh Now" button. I see the need for it – when building / testing MagicETL data flows as well as in other areas.
This is on our roadmap, and I'm hoping to get it scheduled for dev in the coming months.
Another enhancement that we're planning – for which we already have mockups – is the ability to define separate caching TTL rules for tables / datasets individually or in groups … instead of having just one TTL setting that applies to all tables / datasets within a Cloud Amplifier integration. This way, some datasets could be scheduled to update frequently (to avoid staleness) while others be cached for longer periods (to reduce costs in the underlying CDW).
Even with fine-grain control of caching on a per-table basis, I still think there is a need for manual "Refresh Now" in ad hoc prototyping and testing.

Re: Why does my beast mode not work and returns me error "a column in the calculation does not exist'
@art_in_sky Make sure to put single quotes around 'TRUE' and 'FALSE'. It's likely trying to find fields with those names, so putting them in quotes will make sure they are recognized as strings and not field names.
Re: BeastMode to show an end date that is at least 6 month ago or older
Depending on if you are looking for 6 months to the day or not, there are a couple ways to tackle this. One way would be to subtract 6 months from today's date and include or exclude. You could do it like this:
CASE WHEN mydatefield ⇐ DATE_SUB(CURRENT_DATE(), INTERVAL 6 MONTH) THEN 'Include'
ELSE 'Exclude'
END

Re: Duplicate Sticky Notes
Thanks for taking the time to submit this idea. I've added it to our backlog of ideas for improvements to Sections and Sticky Notes. This is one I'm hoping to get on the roadmap sooner rather than later.
