Re: Use JSON Advanced Connector to POST to an API
Hi @simontarry76, if you haven't already, you should reach out to Support [support.domo.com] to have them look at it as well (and escalate to Dev if need be). They would be better suited to explore which part of the account credentials check is misaligning and causing the data to not come through.

Re: Change Update Method Using Pydomo
Hi @user059353, you could use ds_import:
ds_import(ds_id, df_up, update_method = "REPLACE")
where
ds_id: Data set id (from url in Domo).
df_up : Dataframe to upload.
update_method:Optional choose the appropriate updateMethod when importing data via the API. Available choices are either to APPEND or REPLACE.

Re: Dataset "Add Filter" Option for Datasets with PDP
@swagner the Domostats and Domo Governance Datasets dataset has a field for whether or not the dataset has PDP enabled. You should be able to use either of those to create a table to see which of your datasets have PDPs or not. You can also connect them to the dataflow details dataset to determine if a dataflow has an input with PDPs enabled.

Really 12 hours?
Hello! I'm ready to sign-up for the Data Specialist Certification but I'd like to have a better understanding of what to expect. The cert description says it takes 12 hours. Can someone who has taken the cert explain what that means? Do you get a 12 hour window to complete the exams once you push start? Do you get a clock with 12 hours on it that ticks down as long as the exam is open and you're working on it but pauses if you step away? Should you budget 12 total hours to actively work on the exam over multiple days?
Thanks!

eLearning - Domo University | Training | ELearning | Certification
If you go to the link above and scroll down to Learn by Role, the Domo Professional Training is for the Domo Professional cert, Data Specialist Training for Data Specialist cert, and MajorDomo Training for MajorDomo cert. I just passed my Data Specialist cert yesterday. The training gives you all the info you need to pass the cert, although plenty of practice certainly makes it easier.

Domo on Real World Data
Director of Data Insights, Jace McClean, shows changes in smoke and haze data in Minnesota since 2018 and how Domo helped him interpret this data in the real world. Read this example HERE.
Re: MYSQL - Trouble adding new column via LEFT JOIN
I would try something like this
SELECT A.`Posting Title`, A.`Weekly Reporting Date`, A.`Weekly Report Stage`, A.`Funnel Stage`, A.`Candidate Link`, A.`Origin`, A.`Department`, A.`Days in Stage`, A.`Days to Hire`, A.`Days to Archive`, A.`Offer Acceptance Date`, A.`Candidate Journey Start Date`, A.`Event Date`, A.`Previous Event Date`, A.`Previous Opportunity Stage`, A.`Candidate Name`, A.`Hiring Manager`, A.`Posting Created Date`, A.`Owner`, A.`Posting Country`, A.`Posting Location`, A.`Team`, A.`Posting Status`, A.`Archive Reason`, A.`Candidate Email`, IFNULL(Bad.`Dummy`, 'Keep') as `Dummy` FROM `lever_weekly_khtest` AS A LEFT JOIN (SELECT `Opportunity ID`, "Remove" AS Dummy FROM `lever_inactive_report` WHERE `Archive Reason` IS NOT NULL) AS Bad ON A.`Opportunity ID` = Bad.`Opportunity ID`;
Re: Mandatory Single Select Filter
They still haven't implemented this. The current workaround is to utilize a beast mode to display an error if not all the filters are selected (you can use a COUNT to check for duplicates / unfiltered data). You could do this on a page or possibly as the summary number to display "SELECT X, Y and Z filters"
