Re: Calculate time between two dates during business hours, excluding holidays & Sat/Sun
For your situation, I would recommend doing this in Magic ETL as it will be a lot easier to manage because you can break things down to into smaller chunks with multiple formulas. For example, I would created a formula called AdjustedStartDate that looks like this:
/* check to see if the start hour is too early */ (CASE WHEN HOUR(`startdate`) <= 9 THEN /*move it to start at 9 */ ADDTIME(DATE(`startdate`),9*60*60) ELSE `startdate` END)
I would then created another formula called AdjustedEndDate that looks like this:
/* check to see if the start hour is too early */ (CASE WHEN HOUR(`enddate`) >= 17 THEN /*move it to 5pm */ ADDTIME(DATE(`enddate`),17*60*60) ELSE `enddate` END)
You can then do a straightforward formula to get the hours like this:
/* subtract and then divide by 3600 to get the hours */ ((UNIX_TIMESTAMP(`adjustedenddate`) - UNIX_TIMESTAMP(`adjustedstartdate`)) / 3600)
To handle the Monday - Friday piece, you might use a filter tile and use the DAYOFWEEK() function to filter to days 2-6.
Hope all of this makes sense.
Re: Adding Images to DDX HTML Blank app?
Are you entering the full path in the img src? I just tried it and it worked for me.

Re: Drill from global view to country view
I just did a search for "svg global map with states" and it took me here https://morioh.com/p/1ed2ddd34690 and I downloaded the big map at the bottom. I have attached it for you. You'll have to look through and see everything is properly labeled. You can edit the svg with Inkscape, which is free, or Adobe Illustrator.
Re: Copying values from a table card as text
That is not possible right now. You could submit it as an enhancement in the Ideas Exchange section of the Dojo. This allows it to be voted up by other people in the community and then the development team can consider including it in their product roadmap.
Re: How do I get support for the Workfront data connector
I would send an e-mail to support@domo.com to start a support ticket on this. That is been the best way I have found to open up support tickets. They will reach out to the connector team to troubleshoot the issue.
Re: Is there a way in Domo to show/hide columns in a table type of card ?
there is not currently a way in a table card to allow the end user to conditionally hide columns. You could use PDP to hide values if you need to hide sensitive information.
Re: Adding a MOM or YOY value in top of card
@NathanDorsch The div tags cause them to be on separate lines. I haven't played around with formatting it like you want too much, but you could try div style="float:left" for your first div and div style="float:right" for your 2nd div. Here's a link to more info on the css style.
Re: Is there a way in Domo to show/hide columns in a table type of card ?
@vgupta DDX bricks were just released by Domo and one of the new charts is called DDX Dynamic Columns. You may want to look into this and see if you can implement it. They are configured differently than traditional cards, but Domo has tried to make it as easy as possible to power it up. You can find it by going to the app store and search for DDX and then look for DDX Dynamic Columns.
Re: Period over Period (MOM/YOY) option in Multi-Value card for 2 months prior
On the cards where you want to show only data from prior months you could create a beast mode that you would put in your filters. It might look like this:
CASE WHEN `dt` < DATE_SUB(CURRENT_DATE(), INTERVAL (DAYOFMONTH(CURRENT_DATE()) - 1) DAY) THEN 'Prior' ELSE 'Current' END
Replace dt with your fieldname that has the date.
You would then put this beast mode in your filter and set the filter to Prior. This will hide any data in the current month.
Re: How to find the owners of the Beast Modes?
You can join the Domo Governance Beast Modes dataset with the Domo Governance Datasets dataset to get the dataset owner of the beast mode.
They also have a Domo Governance Cards dataset that you can join to the Domo Governance Beast Modes dataset to get the card owner of a dataset.
