Re: Finding average of difference in two different dates
Since you're doing a windowing function have you looked into the Rank & Window tile?
Re: Getting an error in visualizer
What I've done when I encounter this is open a new browser window and use the non-saving card as a guide to build the card again in the new window. This isn't perfect but helps you rebuild the card again much faster.
It may also be worth adjusting settings on the card one at a time and saving after every step. If my memory is correct, adjusting the timeframe in the top right of the card has sometimes been what's stopping the card from saving for me.
Re: data flow to added new data to dataset each week.
currently the only supported method is to do a recursive dataflow.
You can read up on how to do them here: https://domohelp.domo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360057087393-Creating-a-Recursive-Snapshot-DataFlow-in-the-New-Magic-ETL
You can also talk with your CSM if there are any other options for you to opt into

Re: How to display results up to last week
@MarkSnodgrass Understood, thank you for sharing!
Re: How do I create a rate with 1 row of data then filter it by unique cells of another row?
For your percentage of patients admitted via observation, you can use a beast mode like the following:
SUM(case when 'Enc status' = "Observation" then 1 else 0 end)/COUNT('Enc status')
This will get you the total observation patients divided by the total patients. To get it broken out by provider, you can just let Domo do the work. If you do a table and put the providers as a column, or a chart with providers on the axis, you can use your beast mode as your other column and it will just do the calculations for each one.

Re: How to display results up to last week
The script you gave me helped me accomplish what I wanted to do!
Thank you! It will be a great learning experience.
Re: How to display results up to last week
You can create a beast mode that will look at the current date and then move it back to the last day of the previous week and then compare it against your date field.
CASE WHEN `date` <= /* last day of the previous week */ DATE_ADD(DATE_SUB(CURRENT_DATE(), INTERVAL 1 WEEK) , INTERVAL (7- DAYOFWEEK(CURRENT_DATE())) DAY) THEN 'Include' ELSE 'Exclude' END
You would then drag this beast mode into your filters section and select Include.
