Re: Is this a bug or user error
@Jones01 Selecting two columns of the same name is bound to cause issues since SQL operates based off of the field names.
In these situations, I would recommend specifying which columns you need from the right table like this:
select A.*, B.`Column 1`, B.`Column 2` from `Table A` as A left join `Table B` as B on A.`id` = B.`id`
Re: Date filter greyed out - multiple date columns in a table visual
@NateBI You can still have created date in the card, but you will need to add 'batch date' first. Also, you may need to have the 'batch date' column further to the left than 'create date'
Re: Only show unique values of a column in table
@jrtomici The Remove Duplicates tile should let you select multiple columns, so you would select the ID and Num columns to look for duplicates and in your example it would see row 2 and 3 as duplicates, and then the ETL would remove one of them and you would just be left with one row with ID of 1 and Num of 4. It would leave rows 6 and 7 alone because 2-6 and 3-6 are not duplicates. They have an example of what this looks like in the link to page about Remove Duplicates.
Re: Choosing first and last month in BM
Earliest date for the year
MIN(MIN(`Date`)) OVER (PARTITION BY YEAR(`Date`))
Latest date for the year
MAX(MAX(`Date`)) OVER (PARTITION BY YEAR(`Date`))
Remove the partition clause if you want it across your entire dataset.
