Re: How to count status changes in snapshot data
@renee12345 Do you just need a date field for your cards? If so you could use the formula below to identify the first day of the week to group by instead:
`Snapshot Date` - DAYOFWEEK(`Snapshot Date`)
Re: Faceted Bar Chart Labels
You can do something like this with a Symbol + Stacked Bar chart
You can also just view it for a single time period:
Re: Beast mode calculation
What type of visualization are you using? You can accomplish this with the Period over Period "Variance bar line" chart type:
Re: Beast mode calculation
If you used a variable to set the current month and comparison month, then you could write a beastmode to get this calculation. But then the user would need to set those values when they view the card. (you can select a default value, but unfortunately the default can't be "current month". You would need to update the default selections each month)
Re: Filter by Rank?
Yes, you can use the "Limit Rows" option to only show the number of items you want:
In this example, only the top 10 products are displayed, but the total still shows the overall total for the time period
Re: Scheduled Report - Excel Attachement
Bumping this again as pivot tables lose their formatting as well when sent as .csv in scheduled reporting attachments.

Re: Omitting rows in pivot table
You can't truly omit those rows and still show the total, but you can click the minus sign next to 2021 which will collapse those rows keep the detail from showing. If you do this in analyzer, it will save as the default setting for the viewer of the card.
Re: Selecting only newer records from a remote datasource to append to a Domo datasource
@JohnnyN What kind of connector are you using to pull this data? If possible, I'd suggest setting the update method of your dataset to Append, then aligning your query and update schedule so that it always pulls data since the last time the dataset ran.
For example, if you have your connector set to run once a day then you could write your query to only pull data from the previous day.
SELECT *
FROM myRemoteDataSchema.myDataSet
WHERE dateField = CURRENT_DATE() - 1
Re: Totalling certain rows
@jakebutterfield If you want to show the totals for each year, add a beast mode using the formula YEAR(`Date`) to extract the year from the date column. Then add that new beast mode to the pivot table in your second image in the rows in front of Date. The pivot table will add subtotals by year once you do this.
