Re: How can we stop the dataset from disabling with time automatically?
If you don't want the dataset to go into this state, I would create a card based off of it and add it to your Overview page. You might also build a scheduled report off that card to ensure it is being accessed.
Re: SFTP connector - not finding all files
It's been days… we looked at permissions and the feedback was there are no differences in the 5 files from that standpoint. I'll try with the CSV pull connector - thanks for the suggestion.

Thank you, @DavidChurchman for your efforts. Also thanks to all who make keep this community active. I hope to be more a part of that in the future.
Thank you @GrantStowell for the shout out. I have been absent from this community as of late. It feels good to be back and seeing not only the level of engagement but also the many use cases with solutions. I expect to be adding more questions and offering what few tidbits of knowledge I have.
