Re: IFrame inside HTML DDX Brick
@muhammadtalha I believe components that are iframed into a dashboard via Domo Brick have some limitations to them.
Instead of iframing the filters into the brick, you could create your filters directly in the brick using Domo's phoenix charting library:
.
While this is possible, I would strongly recommend @ColemenWilson's solution above and simply use the out of the box checkbox filter card.
Re: Convert null numeric values to '0' in Magic ETL
Thanks @HeatherDomo ! Your solution is the best and I will help me to get rid of the unnecessary tiles in my ETL's. Thanks a lot.
Export dashboard to another DOMO instance
Hello everyone,
I'd like to know if there any way to copy a dashboard from one domo instance to another one including all of the cards. Let's say I want to move a dashboard from abc.domo.com to xyz.domo.com. Both domo instances have the same datasets/dataflows with the same schemas and data, only the dataset name might be different. I need to automate this process because doing it manually is really time consuming and comes with the risk of doing mistakes or missing important things.
I don't really know how this can be achieved. I don't see any option within the Domo UI. Perhaps there's a Domo CLI command that can help here or maybe it can be done by building a custom app.
I'd appreciate any idea or comment about it.
Re: Horizontal Alignment of Multi-Value Cards
There is not a horizontal alignment option, but if this card is part of a dashboard you can sort of get around by trying a couple different things.
You can put an empty content about the above multi-value card to move it down into position.
In the dashboard layout, you can tell it to show the card description, and if your description is empty, it will just move your gauge down slightly to be more horizontally aligned.
It's also worth adding this to the ideas exchange to have a more straightforward positioning option.
Re: I need to know what is the date 5 previous business days from current day, including holidays
Depending on what you need, ETL is most likely the way to go. Otherwise, if what you need is a list of the last N workable days, you can do that with just a table, filters and limiting the number of rows.
Re: I need to know what is the date 5 previous business days from current day, including holidays
You could do this in Magic ETL. Use the domo calendar dataset, filter out all non-work days, and then use a lag function to retrieve the value 5 rows back. This would give you the date you are looking for.
Re: Can DDX Bricks apps bring up blank outlook email?
I have done this with non-DDX brick cards in Domo. It will use the default email client settings on users computers so there may be issues there to resolve. Here is a beastmode that will do what you are looking for:
CONCAT('<a href="mailto:emailaddress?subject=emailsubject','&body=','"</a>')
