Re: Calculation error: Duplicate calculation name
I think what @ArborRose suggested is probably the issue here. It would seem that your dataset already has a field with the same name as one of your beast modes. For example, if you created a beast mode that was called Profit and then later decided to add that field during the ETL, you would expect to see this error when you return to the card.
Could you share the dataset schema and the list of beastmodes for the dataset in question?
Re: Custom Chart - Customizing the Legend Values / Displayed Names
I can't think of a way, or fully understand the use case, for getting the legend of this chart to display the county names. In your example, there are at least two counties with a value of 2 and several with one. Are you saying you want to see the legend simply list every county?
Depending on your use case, I would recommend putting either a filter card next to this map or a table card with the name of each county.
What is your ultimate goal in listing out the county names in the legend?
Re: Custom Chart - Customizing the Legend Values / Displayed Names
I would consider splitting this task over two charts in a dashboard then. Place your custom map on one side and then add a table card that lists the counties along with the value next to it.
Publishing to Subscriber instance - Allow Child page sub-selections
Current Domo publishing is an all or nothing situation where if a parent page is selected all child pages (and grandchildren if 3 page hierarchy in place) are automatically published as well. No option exists to select specific child pages to publish. A feature enhancement suggestion.
- Allow selection of specific Child pages only after selecting a Parent.
- Apply similar selection model three page hierarchies.
Re: Average Count Distinct across Date Range
@ncelis try using this instead of a between
AND Date Scaffold >= Event Date and Date Scaffold <= adjusted_end_date
Re: Batch Move of Cards from the Appendix?
Yes. I would recommend adding this to the ideas exchange:
Re: How to calculate count of Devices as per country using beast mode ?
@Priyanka check your sorting and date range. Incorrect sorting or graph by settings in the date range can cause data to not be aggregated as intended. As an exercise you can remove sorting fields and in graph by select "none"
Re: Getting the Avg Days, Avg Hours, Avg Minutes
The issue that you will run into with @DavidChurchman solution is that the field will then be a text value and you will not be able to get an average.
I would use something like this to get the number of seconds between the two values.
You can then find the average of that numeric value. Then the issue becomes one of converting the average seconds between the two values to the format you want.
Re: Is there a way in Domo to show/hide columns in a table type of card ?
If you pivot your data into the structure below, you might be able to achieve that..
Date, Column Name, Value
render using a pivot table and set the Column Name as filter
