Re: Bug Update: Filtering on Null Values
Thank you Jae.
That what I did. It is just an unnecessary step that I would have rather skipped. Domo should fix this. If a NULL value is valid, then you should be able to filter on it without a Beast Mode.
Re: Ability to export entire dashboard in App Studio
I came to this community forum to ask the same thing - the only requirement preventing us from using the App Studio (which has been awesome using so far!) is the inability to export OR schedule exports like you can in regular dashboards. Hopefully this can be added.
Re: Date Conversion
You can get this formatted as a date field by using the STR_TO_DATE() function like this:
STR_TO_DATE(yourfield, '%a, %d %b %Y %h:%i %p')
You can use the monthname function around this function to extract the month name, but that will be a string value since it is text.
Re: New application for enhanced data Viz
@SayyedHussain I'd suggest checking out the New Product Features page to see which new features may be valuable to you. It looks like there were some new chart types and bricks that became available in last month's release.
Re: Top 100 Values
You should be able to do this with creating a rank in a beast mode and then adding it to the filters section and filter to less than or equal to 100. Your beast mode would look like this:
RANK() OVER (PARTITION BY QUARTER(date), YEAR(date) ORDER BY SUM(score) DESC)
Your client should be in the series, your date should be in the x-axis and and your date range filter should be set to graph by quarter.
Re: Route map
@ColinHaze You can visualize routes with 3 legs on a route map by structuring your data to include one row per leg with lat/long like this:
- Point A to Point B
- Point B to Point C
- Point C to Point A
Then add a beast mode with your lat/long variables like this:
Latitude:
case when `Point` = 'A' then `Point_A_Lat_Variable` when `Point` = 'B' then `Point_B_Lat_Variable` when `Point` = 'C' then `Point_C_Lat_Variable` end
Longitude:
case when `Point` = 'A' then `Point_A_Long_Variable` when `Point` = 'B' then `Point_B_Long_Variable` when `Point` = 'C' then `Point_C_Long_Variable` end
