I believe this is the expected behaviour. I had discussed this with someone at domo. I think you end up having the original data with a null partition key. They suggested filtering this out.

Sync with Cloud should only refresh single dataset
We have noticed that if you go to a dataset and hit "Sync with Cloud", it's not only refreshing the chosen dataset but it does so for all the tables in the Cloud Amplifier integration. This can have unexpected side effects and additional lookup costs on the Snowflake side and trigger downstream ETLs.
The manual refresh button on datasets should be separated from the integration itself and should only refresh the targeted dataset.
Now it is misleading, as it is an option for the datasets an not the whole integration. In reality, it does quite the opposite of what we would expect.Thank you for supporting this request!

@manojshipwire @jimsteph it looks like you can get the query that powers the domo dataset by hitting this API:
GET https://{{instance}}.domo.com/api/data/v1/streams/{{streamId}}
The Stream Id for connectors can be found in the DomoStats Dataset History report.

Love this idea it would be super powerful. I often find myself debating where to put filters on my dashboard or even if I want to create multiple filters of the same type for my users experience.
Freeze panes on key cards general would be a nice to have (not just filters), if I had a few 'master cards' that could always present at the top of the dashboard for users to eyeball as they go through/interact with the dashboard's journey it would be super useful. It would be a part of most of my dashboards I think.

I have a similar support case open right now. Smart Text is showing the wrong value with global date filters on apps. I would recommend submitting a support case with Domo Support.

Interesting… I see a lot of great engagement on the Slack. It also seems like a lot of the help requests have shifted to Slack. I wonder in the long run if that will make it harder for people to Google answers to questions that have already been asked.

I would use the variables feature to accomplish. You would want to use the radio button control in the variable creation and create two options: Last 3 months and Last 6 months.
Then, create a beast mode that looks to see which option is selected by the user:

Add this beast mode to your filter and filter to Include. This should allow the user to select their date range and the card will dynamically change.

I would use a "Value Mapper" tile for this, like so:
Obviously you'll have to change the 1st field to search the relevant column in your dataset.
