Re: DOMO chart doesn't sort in Month order? help
The reason why it is sorting in the way it is currently presented is because the months are in text value. Since it is being sorted in ascending order, it is sorting from A to Z (Feb, Jan, Mar). The easiest solution would be to drag-and-drop a date field into the "Sorting" section (Order Date in your provided screenshot could potentially work). Then sort the table in ascending order to achieve the results you are looking for.
Re: Feature to Allow for "Private" profiles
Would like to really see this feature enabled and implemented.
Re: DOMO chart doesn't sort in Month order? help
There are a lot of ways to accomplish this but the easiest is probably to just drag whatever column you're using for date into the "sorting" section in chart properties.
You can also create a beastmode and add that beastmode to the sorting section:
month(your_date_column)
The above options work as long as month 1 is January and Month 12 is December in your data

Re: Multiple Filters
The best way is in a beast mode:
CASE WHEN UPPER(`yourField`) IN('S','T') THEN 'Out' ELSE 'In' END
Then use this field as a filter on the card/page.
Re: Total of All States on State Map
Yes, create a beast mode to calculate the % of total. Then use that as your value.
SUM(value) / SUM(SUM(value) fixed())
Here is a reference on FIXED functions
Re: NULL value Handling
Yeah, the null handling ain't great. If you're using an ETL and have access to the R/Python tiles, you could handle all your nulls in all your columns with a quick script:
library(dplyr)
library(tidyr)
library('domomagic')
input1 <- read.dataframe('Alter Columns 2')
input1 <- input1 %>%
mutate(
across(everything(), ~replace_na(.x, 'Something to replace your NAs with'))
)
write.dataframe(input1)
Re: Automatically share the content of the parent dashboard to users and groups added to sub-dashboard
I think its risky to share the parent app if you share a card. I have an app with gauges, dials, tables, etc. This app is intended for an executive team to see the big picture. Someone in a department may be able to view one of the cards, but that does not mean that person should be able to see the cards out of their department's scope.
A card might be used independently and shared, but that does not mean the user is automatically assumed to be a user of everything appearing on the app.
The reverse however, does seem appropriate. If you share the parent app to a user, it's implied that the user should be able to see all the cards on the app.
Re: Dataset/Dataflow update trigger expirations
Good idea @ColemenWilson ! I would also like this for quarter-end for our financials. The ability to set up expiring / recurring schedules would be great. Right now I can set up only a single update schedule, but can't say on the last 3 days of a given month, I want this dataset to update hourly instead of daily. All other times I want it to update daily.
Re: multiple Groups shown in just one column
I am not sure exactly the format you are hoping to have, but if you could provide a screenshot or a data table from excel or something showing the format I could help out.
I think maybe you are looking for a concatentation into a single column, which you could accomplish using GROUP_CONCAT()
You could do this in a MySQL dataflow or using the Group by tile in Magic ETL
