Re: How is remove duplicate actually work?
Can we please have the response email in this thread. I had some issues and a detailed explanation would have been helpful
Re: I converted a DDX bricks to App in edit mode
I think you could re-install the brick, then copy your code from the apps files.
To download the apps files, go to More > Asset Library
Click on the triple dots on the app that was created from your brick, and click Download Assets
Unzip that file, and copy and paste back in the contents of index.html, index.css and index.js to their respective panes in the brick interface
Re: ETL Fails = "Illegal Number of Inputs"
@TheBeard to open a ticket click on Blue Question Mark in the top right of Domo.
Then click on "Support", and enter your companies domain
You'll then be able to create a new case (support ticket)
Re: Charting rolling n weeks based on week number selected in the dashboard filter
You'd need to either define all of the selectable weeks in a variable (which you must keep manually updated every week)
or alternatively duplicate your data so that for every date you have that week and the past 8 weeks worth of data. This way when you filter on the selection date it'll show those prior weeks. You'd need to do this in an ETL. You can pull in the Date dimension dataset. Filter on a specific year and month and where the days are less than or equal to 8. Add a field to this dataset and your original dataset called "Join Column" with a value of 1. Then join these two together. Finall,y use a formula tile to calculate the new display date which you'll be filtering on:
`Date` - INTERVAL (`d` - 1) DAY
Re: Workbench security question
The data is still uploaded to the cloud.
Domo Workbench is a tool that allows you to connect to various data sources on your on-premise server. It pulls data from those sources and then uploads it to the Domo cloud environment for processing, visualization, and storage.
Although the data originates from your on-premise server, once Workbench processes it, the data is sent to the Domo cloud. This means that while your raw data remains on your server, the transformed and processed data is stored in the cloud.
Re: Automate file upload
Even though your e-mail has multiple files, you can set up multiple forwarding rules and use the dataset via e-mail connector to handle each file. You can use the attachment name expression field to differentiate which file you want to connect to. Check out the documentation in this KB article.

Re: Combine 2 data set (One to many)
I don't think you have any way to fix it because you have no value in table 2 corresponding to Client name, ID, …
if you really what to join those 2 tables you will have empty rows .
To be able to join 2 data set like that you should have all fields available to avoid any empty cells as this dataset I shared below.
if you find any other solution please share with us
Re: Smart Text card title show year with a comma. How do I get rid of it?
Try creating a beastmode for the field that has the 2,024 value:
yourField * 1
And then use that as the filter for the card and the comma should disappear.
Another option is:
REPLACE(yourField,',','')
The other option is to change the data type of the field in Magic ETL to an integer.
Filter out happy people
So, that's a strange title… Here's the deal:
We have survey data about support tickets. It's pretty basic— just Good, Neutral, and Bad as responses. A person can be interviewed more than once. So, I've been creating a visual of "Sentiment by user". It's a stacked bar graph with the following:
X axis: The user's name
Y axis: Count of user sentiment
Series: User sentiment
So, with a little formatting and sorting, we end up with Bob on the X axis with a tall blue bar since he's always happy but needs lots of help. Jane has a shorter blue bar with a little red top bar since 1 support ticket went badly but the rest were good. Joe has just a tall red bar since he's never happy. And so on…
So, I'd like to include only the people that have at least one non-happy (that is, neutral or bad) response. This would, using the examples, exclude Bob. How could I do that? Thank you.
Name | Date | Disposition |
|---|---|---|
Bob | 8/25/2024 | Good |
Jane | 8/21/2024 | Good |
Joe | 8/22/2024 | Bad |
Bob | 8/10/2024 | Good |
Bob | 8/12/2024 | Good |
Joe | 8/9/2024 | Bad |
Jane | 8/8/2024 | Bad |
Joe | 8/26/2024 | Bad |
Bob | 8/26/2024 | Good |
Bob | 8/16/2024 | Good |
Joe | 8/26/2024 | Bad |
Jane | 8/17/2024 | Good |
Jane | 8/11/2024 | Good |
Bob | 8/14/2024 | Good |
Bob | 8/18/2024 | Good |
