Re: % Change Question
Hi @kacy
There isn't a simple way to do this. You can conditionally set the color or a cell / row in a table using the color rules settings however it's only for that columns itself. You can't conditionally configure the color of one cell based on another column. You might be able to utilize an HTML table and do some conditional HTML formatting with a Beast Mode calculating the difference between the two different columns.
Re: Average of tickets by hour question
@user030156 , change your aggregate in analyzer from the default of SUM to AVG.
Re: Average of tickets by hour question
Hi @user030156 / Michael
I'd recommend using a dataset view (talk to your CSM to join the beta if you don't already have it) to calculate the date and hour of your timestamp.
Date:
DATE(`Timestamp`)
Hour:
HOUR(`Timestamp`)
Then group based on these two fields (date and hour) and count the number of tickets you have using the COUNT aggregate within your dataset view.
Then using the dataset output from this view in your card you can use the Hour field as your X axis and then take the AVERAGE of your count field to get the average per hour over the last X days based on your card filter.
Re: How to customize position of labels?
Hi @user03634
Sadly the label position is fairly limited currently with domo. You can only place all of the labels in the same relative position so you'll always have your overlap. The only option you have is to leave the overlap as is or uncheck the "Allow Overlap" option on your settings and not have some data labels displayed.
As a side note you can add a background to the data labels in the chart properties to help with readability against the chart lines.
Re: How to calculate the total sum of a field in beast Mode
You wouldn't be able to do that on the card because the filter happens before any beast mode is applied. You'd need to aggregate your data in an ETL before hand.
Re: Managing Access Groups
have you looked at the other reports you can generate in Domo Stats (People)? or Domo Governance (Users and Groups)?
Re: Can we add growth% in Hovering?
Hi @Kumar619
Simple way is to utilize a Period over Period type chart to plot to Year over Year change percentage along with your values. In the date selector you can compare to a previous time by telling it how far back you want to compare to and in what unit.
Re: Can we add growth% in Hovering?
That's because you only have a single year being displayed. Are you wanting only the prior year to be displayed or multiple years?
Re: Business days in Date_Add Interval
@AJ2020 You're welcome!
If you want to change the number of business days this is the template you'd can use. Just change [BUSINESS DAYS] to the number of business days you're wanting to add.
DATE(DATE_ADD(`StartDateTime`, INTERVAL (FLOOR([BUSINESS DAYS]/5) * 7 + CASE WHEN MOD([BUSINESS DAYS],5) + DAYOFWEEK(`StartDateTime`) >= 7 THEN 2 - FLOOR(DAYOFWEEK(`StartDateTime`)/7) ELSE 0 END + MOD([BUSINESS DAYS],5)) DAY)
Re: Business days in Date_Add Interval
Hi @AJ2020
I had a few errors in the prior beast mode one being the extra parenthesis but also missing the final parenthesis on the first case statement. Copy and paste will get you sometimes. Try this:
CASE WHEN (`PurposeType`= 'New') AND (HOUR(`StartDateTime`)>=15) THEN DATE(DATE_ADD(`StartDateTime`, INTERVAL (FLOOR(2/5) * 7 + CASE WHEN MOD(2,5) + DAYOFWEEK(`StartDateTime`) >= 7 THEN 2 - FLOOR(DAYOFWEEK(`StartDateTime`)/7) ELSE 0 END + 1) DAY)) --New after 3 PM WHEN (`PurposeType`= 'New') AND (HOUR(`StartDateTime`)<15) THEN DATE(DATE_ADD(`StartDateTime`, INTERVAL (FLOOR(1/5) * 7 + CASE WHEN MOD(1,5) + DAYOFWEEK(`StartDateTime`) >= 7 THEN 2 - FLOOR(DAYOFWEEK(`StartDateTime`)/7) ELSE 0 END + 1) DAY)) --New before 3 PM WHEN (`PurposeType`!= 'New') AND (HOUR(`StartDateTime`)>=15) THEN DATE(DATE_ADD(`StartDateTime`, INTERVAL (FLOOR(4/5) * 7 + CASE WHEN MOD(4,5) + DAYOFWEEK(`StartDateTime`) >= 7 THEN 2 - FLOOR(DAYOFWEEK(`StartDateTime`)/7) ELSE 0 END + 1) DAY)) --Renew after 3 PM WHEN (`PurposeType`!= 'New') AND (HOUR(`StartDateTime`)<15) THEN DATE(DATE_ADD(`StartDateTime`, INTERVAL (FLOOR(3/5) * 7 + CASE WHEN MOD(3,5) + DAYOFWEEK(`StartDateTime`) >= 7 THEN 2 - FLOOR(DAYOFWEEK(`StartDateTime`)/7) ELSE 0 END + 1) DAY)) --Renew before 3 PM ELSE ' ' END
