Avoid putting aggregations inside of a CASE statement. usually leads to heartache.
Given that it looks like you only want your aggregation to work IF the metric type is C. then write it as
sum(sum(CASE WHEN `Metric` = 'C' then `Value` end )) over(partition by YEAR(`Date`) order by `Date`)

If i had to guess, when Domo previews your data (it scans the first N-thousand rows) it determined your data type to be type Number. When it got to N-thousand +1 row it came across the text 'nan' which obviously is not a number. hence why it failed.
Can you reupload your data?
If you have Magic 2.0 you can explicitly tell Domo to set the column type as Text, and then use logic ( a formula tile) to correct the non-numeric values. Or define erro handling rules in the INPUT tile.
ALTERNATIVELY you can build a dataset view here you explicitly set the column type to Text and then use that View inside a Magic 2.0 dataflow.

that can NEVER be the same ... because MAX(DAY) can NEVER equal MAX(DAY) -1 .
Try putting your data into EXCEL and figure out how you'd construct the answer...

There are actually two flex table chart types that you can choose from and they are not the same. You chose the flex table that is under the period over period chart type. You need to choose the one that is under Tables and Textboxes. This will have the additional field that you are not seeing.

One thing to be careful of though with IFNULL is that if Vessel happened to have a value of Y It would also be excluded. I'd recommend using @MarkSnodgrass 's version using an explicit IS NULL check or alternatively combining your '' check and the NULL check together since you do have an explicit string you're wanting to exclude:

Pretty much any tile that allows you to add columns one at a time should have an add all columns button. Seems weird to have it in inconsistent places.

you should definitely consider the No Code connectors. But tried and true options like emailed reports or SFTP are pretty solid too.
also if you have some Python guys in house, you might consider using PyDomo or Workbench to push data into Domo.

Domo was having some connectivity issues yesterday which were impacting some of my API scripting but it appears to have been resolved now.

@RobynLinden you can use interaction settings so that a filter card only interacts with one card. Also @Tara the filter views beta allows you to set a default page filter for all users.
