Re: Change goal color
Maybe I'm missing something, but isn't this already possible using the parameters under Scale Marker?
Re: Is there a way to nest beast modes in another beast mode without exposing the full calculation
@MarkSnodgrass is correct there is no referential way to refer to pre-defined beast modes.
@JustinB you generally should not nest aggregations inside a CASE statement.
case when (sum(`Clicks`) / sum(`Impressions`)) < x then 0 when (sum(`Clicks`) / sum(`Impressions`)) < y then 1 when (sum(`Clicks`) / sum(`Impressions`)) < z then 2 else 3 end
Unless people think this through really carefully, it usually yields unexpected results. For that reason, Grant's recommendation to embed the math inside a DSV is a strong recommendation; however as you point out, then the data stops responding to filters b/c the DSV is rigid and doesn't give access to the underlying data to filter.
It's kind of a rock and a hard place. And arguably the weakest feature of Domo's Analyzer engine.
Re: I get an error message with the Facebook Ads Advanced connector.
It sound like a Facebook limitation and not much Domo can do but I’d be interested in hearing what support comes back with @RobynLinden
Re: Mitigating V2 - Federated source limitation in Magic ETL
You can use the Dataset Copy connector to copy a dataset from one instance to another. It can be scheduled just like any other connector and would allow your subscribers to build dataflows off of it.
Here are instructions on how to set it up.

Re: Datacenter Autotags: Manual vs Scheduled, Append vs Replace
Being able to add tags based on dataset attributes that are accessible via DG datasets would aid in automating governance activities
Re: Custom graphics for gauge charts?
That is currently not possible. You might want to try submitting this as in the ideas exchange and see if it is something that can be added in the future.
Re: How can I show % change summary # for Period over Period chart?
@MarkSnodgrass thanks for the reply. We utilize similar Beast Modes on other card types, but I don't think it works on the period over period charts because you essentially have to set the date range to current period, and then apply the "Compare to" option. Once that date range is selected for current period, you lose the ability to calculate % change in the summary number.
