Re: Turnover calculation query
Hi @Abhijith, as you already have the total 'Employed' and total 'Terminated' from the initial ETL, there's no need for another ETL.
It appears you are after rolling aggregates, so I suggest you look into these great write-ups, as a start, from @GrantSmith:

Re: How to add multiple Name Columns to a custom chart
Hi @ChelseaP, the SVG custom chart is only restricted to one name column, and as such Domo will map the values based on whether you drag 'Component' or 'Connection' into your Names field in Analyzer.
If in your data table, there's one primary field and the other is a secondary field, and you don't want to miss out on the additional details included in your diagram, then you can add the secondary field as a 'Tooltip' and it would appear as a hover text along with your primary column and datapoints. Have a look at this link for more information: https://domohelp.domo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043429693-Formatting-Data-Label-and-Hover-Text-in-Your-Chart#h_01FF3GKJBJ85B75PWWE4Y88V48.
Let me know your thoughts.

Re: Is it possible to overlay a "milestone date" onto date-based cards?
Hi @TomKelleher, you could use annotations [https://domohelp.domo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360042923974-Adding-Chart-Annotations] to add the list of milestones in with your trends graph.

Re: Card not working
If it's not network connectivity related, it could be an indicator that the data volume and querying is at capacity or close to, in which case one should do some content management/optimisation and spacing out update scheduling to reduce the load in the instance.

Re: what does the delta symbol mean on my data flow ?
Hi @Kalyan, there could be one of a few things happening for you.
When you look at the 'Lineage' of your dataset, and you click on the dataflow that is highlighted in Orange, it should mention under the name/heading of your dataflow the reason for this needing your attention (i.e. Field "xxxx" does not exist).
It could also be that there is a temporary server issue during data processing (i.e. Many dataflows are updating at the same time or an external issue on Domo side).
Another thing to check is, in 'Accounts', whether one of the account credentials used to pull your data is showing the attention symbol. If so, you would need to reconnect your account (i.e. Re-Authentication on the platform/app side).
Hope that helps. Let me know how you go.

Re: SAML Authentication in the Mobile App
Hi @Tow, you can enable SSO via SAML for mobile. From this article [https://domohelp.domo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360042934374-Understanding-and-Configuring-Domo-Single-Sign-On-Using-SAML]:
"Users of the Domo Mobile application can log in to Domo by entering their company's subdomain, then entering their IDP username and password in the web view. SP initiated authentication is required for the Mobile App to work with SSO."
This is what I can gather also:
where subdomain refers to what your organisation name is. Hope that helps.

Re: Subtracting Dates Based on Other columns
I find it is easiest to do this in Magic ETL utilizing the Rank & Window tile. Choose the Lag function and then choose order date asc and partition by your account number and order number. This will put the previous order date (when there is one) next to the next order. You can then use the formula tile and the datediff function to find the difference between the two dates. Here's a link to the KB article for Rank & Window.

Re: Subtracting Dates Based on Other columns
Hi @user027926, you'll need a combination of window and date diff functions in order to calculate the difference between the two dates. You will need to ask your Customer Success Manager to "enable window functions in beast modes" in order to make use of this.
A bit of food for thought also, doing something like (CASE when 'Order' = 2 then 'Date Ordered' END) - (CASE when 'Order' = 1 then 'Date Ordered' END) won't work as beast modes are calculated on a row basis. With this beast, either there will be values from Order 1 or 2 but won't have both captured. As a result, you'll have a value and NULL per row and also subtracting null from anything will give null, resulting in a blank output.

Re: Domo - delete data
Because of how the underlying architecture of Domo and data storage in general it's not like a Database where you can just simply run a DELETE FROM type command.
What you can do is do a dataflow to input your dataset, filter out the rows you don't want and then write it out to another dataset.
Re: Has anyone been able access salesforce historical data?
@Canioagain this was something I tackled about a year ago in our domo instance. As far as I could find, there was no easy way to query it out of salesforce - it doesn't seem that there is an opportunity history object you can query.
I created a new salesforce dataset (salesforce_daily_append) that snapshots the salesforce opportunities daily.
I was able to leverage the opportunity field history and stage history items (https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sf.opp_history.htm&type=5) to build a historic dataset via a python script, which I then loaded to Domo and used an ETL to append to the salesforce_daily_append to create a full opportunity history dataset.
The script to build the historic dataset from the opportunity field history and stage history items basically just fills in the gaps between the records (so if an opportunity was created as a lead jan 1 and changed to cultivation on feb 1, it creates records from jan 2 - jan 31 for that opportunity as lead, etc). You could probably also do this in magic ETL.
