Re: Automatically share everything in Domo with admins
i'm not sure ...
i think a better practice would be to manage and share content with a group and then just be good about assigning admins to groups.
for my projects, I actually like it that I can't see ALL the dashboards when I sign into an instance just b/c I'm an Admin. instead I have a group for each project and just try to make sure I get the right people in that group. when an admin rolls of the project, it's easy for them to keep a cleaner UI.
Re: Interpreting errors with Google Writeback - Enterprise
yeah that's frustrating. but probably an issue best left to Support as they can actually access the error logs.
Re: How to build a filter for only the most recent value of a column in a data set to show.
only addendum I'd add to @MichelleH 's post would be to not filter out rows. just add your row_number for nth-most-recent visit.
in one card you can filter on "nth-most-recent-visit = 1" and on the other card just filter by patient.
Re: Dashboards/Sub-Dashboards Management
You'd have to have an Admin move the pages under the Admin - Pages section to change the parent page of the pages you wish to move.
Re: Drill down linking to Salesforce
You can link to any url by creating a table card in your drill path and then construct the proper html tag to build the hyperlink. Here is one example of how to do it:
Re: How to build a filter for only the most recent value of a column in a data set to show.
Hi @slewis1 I would suggest using a Rank and Window tile in the ETL to add a row number column, ordered by visit date (descending) and partitioned by patient record number. You can then filter to rows where this row number equals 1 to identify the most recent visit.

Re: Ignore Row Context / Power BI 'ALL()' Equivalent?
@chapman Domo recently rolled out the FIXED function which should accomplish what you're after. You can write a FIXED function that will ignore filters applied to your card.

Re: Aggregation on Lag/Lead functions
sorry for showing up late to the party. the problem isn't that you can't aggregate a window function as @GrantSmith suggests.
I believe the issue is that you're trying to perform math on an aggregation and an unaggregated value (column11) in your example.
you SHOULD be able to write
lag(sum(col_11), 1) over( order by date desc ) - sum(col_11)
but you CANNOT write
lag(sum(col_11), 1) over( order by date desc ) - col_11
because col_11 in example 2 only exists pre-aggregation. and your lag() function applies after aggregation , sum(col_11)
the ABS has nothing to do with the error. this should work fine.
abs( lag(sum(col_11), 1) over( order by date desc ) - sum(col_11) )
Re: Date Filter Card Will Not Toggle
@jkami talk to your CSM about the Variables beta, that would be the easiest path forward for this problem and if you have Partitions in ETL then it seems like that shouldn't be a big ask.
If your data goes back super far, you can filter your data using Dataset Views before pulling them in ETL, so if you know you only need 180 days of data that might be something you pre-flilter in a DSV before throwing it into ETL.
BUUUUT for your use case (rolling x days) the variables beta is probably the better tool for the job. but again, if the max i need to go back is X days, i'd probably build a DSV that prefilters the data, maybe drops a few unnecessary columns, then have support "optimize the DSV" and everything should feel much snappier.
